Weekly Astrology Forecast: 11 - October 17
This week's New Moon (October 12, 5:05 PM PDT 19° Libra) sets us on a course through an entirely new landscape. Creativity and artistic capabilities are strongly supported but need to be activated by social interaction and cooperative effort. Libra's Iron Fist & Velvet Glove — charm covering an intense effort to keep others in line — is on display all week. Due to the unfamiliarity of this new environment, many struggle to try and control others in order to increase personal security and maintain the safety of individual beliefs. Nonetheless, this new atmosphere is remarkably creative and offers opportunities for new leaders to emerge. This week shows us tangible evidence of the rebuilding process underway, following the last 3 years of the Pluto/Uranus square. The global changes spurred by that square have required us to make adjustments in our personal lives. Cooperative effort is crucial in order to continue to lay the foundation for further progress and expand the reach of our personal initiatives. On both Sunday and Monday, we see significant efforts to control or convince others to embrace one particular set of beliefs over another. By Tuesday, there is increased willingness to lead by example instead of force or manipulation. The tone becomes more serious on Wednesday and we deepen our search for answers and demonstrate some willingness to remain open to different beliefs. Thursday may present some surprises or unexpected twists but there is little opportunity to respond effectively. Friday demands perseverance as the upheavals and setbacks continue to mount. Rather than seeking to convince others, it becomes more apparent that we must lead by our own example using an each one, teach one strategy in order to create real, lasting, positive change. Saturday offers a more hopeful environment and an increasing sense of excitement, leading to a welcome round of cooperation and a promising exchange of ideas.
