Weekly Astrology Forecast: October 18 - October 24

Change is in the air this week as last week's New Moon begins to bear significant fruit. As Mercury moves back to square Pluto all week, we find powerful opportunities to readdress issues that surfaced under the retrograde Mercury and make important changes, particularly in the area of cooperative efforts and personal relationships. The focus on making solid, tangible progress in unmistakable although there are periods when we are tempted to become sidetracked by misguided sympathy or unfocused vacillation and a lack of self-confidence. The strong Earth sign emphasis offers the opportunity to make solid, lasting changes and build strong new alliances. Sunday and Monday set a particularly fruitful tone for this week's grounded expansion. We may need to watch out for some increased sensitivity on Monday if we don't get the kind of support from others that we believe is crucial. Sensitivity could lead to vacillation on Tuesday and we'll need to tap into our intuition in order to stay on track. Wednesday's excitement could lead some of us to push too hard and overshoot the mark. However, by focusing on clearing our own internal vision we should find building external support. Self-confidence may be hard to come by on Thursday and we could find ourselves hampered by a lack of clear focus or overwhelmed by some kind of overly sympathetic response. The Sun's arrival in Scorpio on Friday helps to renew our determination and revitalize our inner vision. When we feel that new surge of energy, we may need to guard against the temptation to take shortcuts or reckless chances in order to make a quick strike. 'Slow & Steady Wins the Race'. By Saturday, we have a chance to replenish our emotional resources in order to be prepared for next Tuesday's Full Moon (3° Scorpio/Taurus 5:05 AM PDT), which will offer the opportunity to solidify and build on this week's gains over the following two weeks.
