Mars-Uranus Conjunction
Mars-Uranus Conjunction - Sudden Change
"You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength."
— Marcus Aurelius
This week is dominated by Monday's Mars-Uranus conjunction in Taurus. This is extraordinarily powerful 'seed energy' that sends us barreling into next Sunday's highly significant and transformative Capricorn Full Moon (3:16 AM PDT 29° Capricorn/Cancer). Even though the Mars-Uranus conjunction is in the Earth sign of Taurus, we need to manifest a great deal of grounding in order to maintain our balance and make the most of the energy that is unleashed. Will-power is strong and deep but this is not an environment where we should try to 'go it alone'. It is certainly important to 'stand in our truth' but we should remember that we will always be stronger with allies. A 'group', 'tribe', or 'community' can achieve far more than an individual when they are able to maintain cohesion around a set of ideas and principles. Neptune's involvement in this environment should not be ignored. Neptune offers bountiful inspiration but can also suggest the potential for deception and self-delusion. Mars makes a sextile to Neptune before heading into Gemini on Friday. As well, next week's Full Moon is also in a sextile to Neptune, while the Sun is trining Neptune. There is little doubt that this week's environment produces a great deal of inspired energy to set bold new agendas and aggressively pursue dramatic changes. Venus is in Leo, ruling the Mars-Uranus conjunction, encourages boldness and dramatic flair but also puts egos on the line. Some may find it quite easy to display bold self-confidence and determination. But Neptune's involvement can also suggest deceptive false bravado. Insecurities or arrogance can quickly lead to recklessness and sudden, surprising missteps. Surprises are inevitable. Keeping our feet on the ground while embracing an inspired vision for change isn't an easy assignment. We aren't likely to be able to fully understand the implications of this week's shifts as we are moving through them. We must vigilantly guard against impatience and self-delusion. Frustration needs to be well-managed or it will lead to some seriously self-destructive outbursts. If we can avoid self-deception or escapism while staying open to new exploration and unexpected developments, the rewards that we are offered this week are quite extraordinary. As well, we need to be prepared for further surprising developments as we move past next week's Full Moon into the waning phase of this lunar cycle when the implications of this week's shifts begin to become more apparent.
Intellectual insights form rapidly on Sunday but we may not be willing to share them openly. We need to be humble enough to be prepared for surprises. Egos are on the line more than we can clearly see on Monday. Will-power is strong and deep. We find new awareness on Tuesday and we can begin to open up about our insights. Missed opportunities are possible but so, too, is the potential to be led astray by impatience and delusion. There is some hope that we can find a new sense of stability on Wednesday. A new sense of freedom brings important breakthroughs. Some things begin to fall into place spontaneously on Thursday. We need to look beneath the surface and follow our unique, individual thread of inspiration. We find some helpful, practical tools to use to implement our inspiration on Friday. Slow downs should be seen as welcome opportunities to further clarify and streamline our goals. 'The stage is set' on Saturday for next week's Capricorn Full Moon which is energized with a powerful 'change agenda'. Our inspiration is super-charged.
