Weekly Astrology Forecast: September 13 - September 19
We are in transition this week as Mercury goes retrograde and Saturn finally leaves Scorpio. Last Saturday's New Moon set up another blind corner that feels particularly chaotic and possibly even threatening. It is time to play The Long Game by avoiding panic and taking time to get our bearings. Attend to any last minute details and check the foundation. Vacillation seems to be intractable during the early part of this week — no one wants to get off the fence. Many are worried about having to own the uncertain consequences of any decisions. Sunday offers us the opportunity to follow a trail of breadcrumbs and take methodical, deliberate baby steps through this rapidly changing landscape without making too many commitments. Monday is particularly helpful for negotiation and compromise — even if we don't come to any firm conclusions. Even though decisions seem difficult, talking things over with someone will help to clarify what we really want. The desire to find someone else to make decisions for us is intense on Tuesday when the Jupiter/Neptune opposition peaks. By mid-week, the most significant activity goes behind the scenes, giving us some cover as we look for conclusive evidence. The Moon's trine to Neptune on Wednesday offers intuitive guidance for those who are listening to that still, small voice. The shift that happens on Thursday is tremendously significant as Mercury turns retrograde and Saturn arrives in Sagittarius. The interest in turning to leader's and experts to answer our questions dissipates. However, we suddenly have to watch having 'too many Chefs in the kitchen' as independent, decisive activity breaks through the vacillation as we move towards the end of the week. The importance of cooperative effort looms large. The retrograde Mercury period will offer us the space to clear up resentments and other debris from August's retrograde Venus, when our ego and self-image was challenged. As Mercury moves backward through Libra, our new self-image is tested by how we well we relate to others and how productively we can participate in cooperative efforts.
