It has sometimes been said, "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!" We start this week in a fog that is crowded with the limitless potential that could supply us with the power to make dreams come true. However, the fog may also seem somewhat confusing and steamy, as it continues to roll in from the Mars/Neptune conjunction in Pisces. Nonetheless, we should, indeed, be careful what we wish for! Dream big but don't imagine everything all at once! The New Moon occurs on Tuesday (5:13 AM PST 0° Aquarius), just after the Sun arrives in Aquarius and challenges us to overcome our fear of the unknown in order to fully explore our place in the larger, ever changing world. We are building a new framework but need to be careful to neither discount nor overvalue our past experiences and perspectives. Compounding the foggy confusion, Mercury goes retrograde on Wednesday of this week (17° Aquarius) beginning another process of reviewing, revising, revisiting and reviving. Mercury retrograde in Aquarius, ruled by Uranus in Aries (along with traditional ruler Saturn in Sagittarius), focuses our attention on our unique, individual place within the broader humanitarian landscape. However, we will need to sort through a significant amount of idealism and unrealistic expectations in order to get to the significant opportunities that are offered. Thursday presents us with a glimpse of the path we need to follow but we need to tread carefully in order to avoid creating more confusion or misunderstandings. By Saturday, we finally get a boost in confidence to help us proceed with the review process. This week is best suited for fearless exploration. We should avoid being in a hurry to achieve quick results or satisfy fanciful desires.
