Weekly Astrology Forecast: January 25 - January 31

We see some wildly erratic behavior to begin this week as attempts are made to firmly establish a distinct and unique perspective. Some are even looking to distinguish themselves by a misguided desire to produce a shock effect. However, Venus moves into Pisces on Tuesday, encouraging a bit more discretion in the demonstration of a unique individual perspective. The opportunities for communication open up significantly by Wednesday afternoon and many will begin to see how important it is to understand the perspective of others. Our mission this week is to understand how our unique message fits into the larger picture. In order to achieve this, we need to understand what others are saying and find ways to respect the differences without giving up on our own ideas. As the week develops, we find ways to adjust our perspective and make some necessary course corrections. By Thursday, some may even make a complete turn-around based on the new information that is presented this week. The Venus/Saturn square on Friday encourages a withdrawal to somewhere safe in order to more thoroughly review the wide variety of distinct perspectives that have been put forth this week. However, we need to be careful to avoid a dreamy, reckless dissolution and stay focused on expanding our perspective and understanding. Saturday offers the payoff of broader perspective, deeper understanding and a new outlook. However, there is a distinct danger of becoming stuck on meaningless distractions, particularly if our sympathies are aroused. Throughout the week, we need to stay focused on the review process of the retrograde Mercury, seeking deeper understanding of our individual place in the bigger picture rather than expending too much energy trying to solidify any particular position. Remember that many individual positions will be subject to shifts and changes until after Mercury resumes forward motion on February 11th.
