Weekly Astrology Forecast: August 9 - August 15

As the Jupiter/Saturn square begins to separate, the vice-grip lock-down from that fixed-sign square slowly falls apart. The early part of this week offers some last-minute opportunities to release some residual insecurities that have been discovered by the retrograde Venus. We may feel some lingering ego-based concerns over image and appearances, which can be dispersed through opening up to others and allowing the light to shine on some of those fears. As Jupiter arrives in Virgo on Tuesday, the protective layers begin to crack, suggesting a Birth Process beginning to unfold. Wednesday continues the cascading release of new ideas and new perspectives as our insecurities begin to lose their grip. However, we should be a bit cautious about looking for ways to generously share our new perspectives by offering help to others. We will do better to focus on our own personal development. The Moon arrives in Leo on Thursday, ahead of Friday's New Moon, creating a driving force to guide us towards a new level of personal, creative self-expression. Friday's Leo New Moon (7:53 AM PDT 21° Leo) initiates a process of creative self-expression that will help us to build a new, sturdier creative vision, incorporating a deeper love for ourselves. Over the next two weeks, we will find opportunities for demonstrating a new level of self-respect, as well as welcome assistance in incorporating the lessons of the retrograde Venus, which has been seeking to teach us to love ourselves more deeply. The Moon joins Jupiter in Virgo on Saturday, increasing our focus on the details of our new vision. Some may feel a bit overwhelmed by the new atmosphere and begin searching for someone to follow, instead of trusting their own internal process. However, the lessons here are guiding us towards a better understanding our own vision. We should be very cautious about abandoning ourselves to someone else's vision.
