We begin to slowly step back from the intensity of multiple retrogrades this week — a process that will continue through the rest of the year. The reordering process is ongoing but there are significant new insights beginning to develop that offer us help to find a new way forward. Mercury turns direct on Friday, just after Thursday's important Virgo New Moon (6:39 PM PDT 21° Virgo). The New Moon is ruled by the stationing Mercury, giving it extra intellectual potency. As well, there is a tight trine to Uranus and a forming trine to Pluto. Transformative insights and improving communication are quite likely as we move through this entire new lunar cycle over the next few weeks. There is significant hope that innovative experimentation can begin to lead to real, tangible breakthroughs. This is strong 'Earth Sign' energy which is never quick — even with the involvement of Uranus and Pluto — but the results are far more likely to be tangible and lasting. Venus picks up speed all week after turning direct last week — forward motion which suggest that we are increasingly interested in making connections and finally 'getting on the same page' with those around us. However, the early part of the week is fraught with bursts of overoptimism and our initial attempts at building consensus may be overly optimistic or even sometimes rather abrasive. It may be easy to get 'ahead of ourselves'. Attempts at charm or finesse can be rather awkward, or obviously self-serving. Ultimately however, our path is narrowing. We are guided towards logically and methodically laying the groundwork for making new connections and honestly sharing our insights. We may be tempted to present a deceptively confident facade but our underlying insecurities will be obvious. We are given multiple chances, ahead of the New Moon, to set aside false pride, self-criticism, and recriminations that are keeping us from moving forward. By the end of the week, the stage is set for a far more clear, honest, and direct exploration of our perspectives — what we really want and who we really want to work with to achieve it. The process of building a new plan of action begins on a new and far more stable footing.

Our creativity is stirred on Sunday but expectations may be raised a bit too far. Our ideas will require significant testing and analysis before anything tangible emerges. Generosity and optimism on Monday betrays a stubborn insistence that everything is fine — even if it isn't. If we don't push too hard, we may begin to be able to build a clear consensus. The best we can hope for on Tuesday is to 'fake it till we make it'. However, our confident 'facade' isn't likely to be very convincing or long lasting. Wednesday's activity is tentative and unsteady. It isn't easy to convince anyone that we are really as sure as we would like them to believe. The Virgo New Moon on Thursday provides us with a new sense of purpose and mission. The pent up energy is released rather abruptly and we may not be able to use as much charm or finesse as we would like in order to make connections with those around us. There is a swirl of energy on Friday that offers some hope that we are finally 'getting on the same page' with those around us. There is extra room to try out new ideas. Saturday feels like an 'emotional roller coaster' but is likely to provoke important conversations and honest dialog. Our shared feelings may stay 'on the table' for several days of extended examination.
