Weekly Horoscope: March 5 - March 11
Venus Retrograde - Lack Of Trust
We face intense challenges this week, designed to facilitate our emergence from the foggy uncertainty of last week's New Moon (February 26th 8° Pisces). There is little room for us to escape adopting a more definitive, individual sense of direction and purpose. Adjustments must be made, despite the fact that they may produce a significant amount of discomfort, disarray or dispute. Venus retrograde in Aries this week rules the already retrograde Jupiter in Libra. The importance of unwinding our own unique perspective from that of others becomes paramount. Mercury moves ahead of the Sun, marking the superior conjunction which, in this case, opens the floodgates to a much more reliable, intuitive knowing. Also, Mars leaves home (Aries) to be tempered in Taurus. Mars and Venus establish a mutual reception, which will doubtless help to smooth some of the rougher adjustments that must be made in our relationships as we work to separate ourselves from others enough to identify our own unique perspective. While this week's turn is sharp, it is by no means the end of the process. The unwinding reveal will continue over the next few weeks and months. We need to move through the process of unraveling the certainty of our beliefs before we can knit them back together into a more reasonable and effective strategy.
There is very little room to escape the pressure under Sunday's 1st Quarter Moon, which demands that we provide more clarity and specificity. Whatever lucky breaks we find may only weaken our ability to answer the increasing demands for clarity. Monday's moody Cancer Moon produces a significant amount of discomfort but we should resist any temptation to grasp at tenuous alliances. We need to stay centered and focus on what is directly in front of us. Mercury's superior conjunction with the Sun opens up a windfall of reliable intuition on Tuesday. Wednesday's smooth flowing atmosphere presents intriguing new vistas to explore, expanding our perspective and offering a remarkable awakening. Mars arrives in Taurus on Thursday and the shift in tone is particularly jarring. Some begin to dig in their heels in surprising ways. Friday's Mercury/Chiron conjunction increases idealism and helps to ease any distrust enough to open some productive lines of communication. There are significant relationship challenges to contend with on Saturday, ahead of next week's Full Moon (March 12th 22° Virgo/Pisces). Adjustments within the sphere of personal relationships may be quite difficult but will ultimately lead to a more definitive, individual sense of purpose and direction.
