Weekly Horoscope: November 20 - November 26
Venus-Pluto Conjunction - Intense Insight
The waning phase of what has been an incredibly active and productive lunar cycle could easily drain away ambition and confidence as we take a step back and begin to look at the bigger picture. Some may be tempted to look for an off ramp or escape hatch when obstacles seem to be intractable. The Sun's entrance into Sagittarius this week helps us to recognize that, at least in some areas, we have been too focused on the trees and missed the forest entirely. While we may not actually find new initiatives or feel confident in a new set of ideas, we can begin to recognize a new foundation forming — a launchpad of sorts — built from the inside out. There is a Mercury-Saturn and a Venus-Pluto Conjunction this week. Both conjunctions contribute to broader understanding but the weight of the insight is definitely intense.
There are tempting distractions on Sunday, along with a strong desire to find some kind of escape hatch. Monday's mutable T-Square produces an emotionally chaotic atmosphere that increases the desire to pursue some unproductive distractions rather than acknowledging the discomfort of looking at the overall picture. The Moon is VOC nearly all day on Tuesday, which suggests a tendency to ineffectively dispute dubious information. By Wednesday, when Mercury conjuncts Saturn, subtlety and restraint slow us down enough to finally have a clear eyed view of a broader perspective. We may feel significant discouragement and a continued lack of ambition on Thursday but satisfaction can be found by focusing on the 'little things'. Venus conjuncts Pluto on Friday, which bolsters confidence a bit and helps us turn a corner and begin to feel a bit more individual empowerment and ambition. Inner strength and courage continues to build on Saturday and Venus approaches a sextile to Chiron that suggests a new wave of compassion along with a reduction of acrimony which provides enough space to build a new foundation for the new initiatives that will come with next Tuesday's New Moon (4:18 AM 7° Sagittarius).
