Weekly Horoscope: November 27 - December 3
Sagittarius New Moon - Visionary Commitment
Mercury enters retrograde territory this week, which indicates that much of the effort over the next few weeks will be subject to significant review and adjustment. However, this Tuesday's Sagittarius New Moon (November 29th, 7° Sagittarius 4:18 AM PST) sets up a powerhouse of individual initiative and an intensely optimistic personal vision and sense of purpose. The depth of commitment may not be readily apparent on the surface. We begin to see ourselves, as individuals, separated from collective and collaborative efforts just enough to recognize an intriguing new set of tools, offering opportunities to make a significant individual impact within a larger arena. Mercury arrives in Capricorn, encouraging us to feel responsibility to ourselves, not to an external authority. This is a highly visionary but quite nebulous atmosphere. Some could easily go too far and even lose touch with reality in the attempt to manifest a personal vision.
Sunday's activity provides a powerful emotional foundation for this week's visionary new initiatives. The Sun conjuncts Juno on Monday, bringing a demand to balance the scales ahead of Tuesday's New Moon. As we move past the New Moon, the Sun's square to Neptune brings forward an indescribable feeling of optimism and individual empowerment. Jealousy surfaces on Wednesday and could be particularly damaging if we are unwilling to move on and let go of past imbalances. Mercury enters retrograde territory on Thursday and the die is cast. For better or worse, there is a new belief structure in place. Stubborn determination is revealed on Friday and continues to be demonstrated into Saturday. Personal commitment may be quite unexpected and surprisingly strong. The danger of losing touch with reality is most significant on Saturday as we follow our own internal direction and distance ourselves from external authority.
