This week's shifts are quite momentous. As we begin the week, the Sun, Mars and the asteroid Ceres are all set to move from determined Scorpio to expansive Sagittarius. But as they move into Sagittarius, they must all pass through the 'gauntlet' of a square to Saturn, which is still nearly stationary on the Aquarius/Pisces cusp. The shift to Sagittarius urges action. There is a strong desire for freedom. But the squares to Saturn indicate the importance of responsibility and integrity as well as the need to be aware of a 'Greater Good'. The waxing lunar cycle presents us with an endless series of questions as we work to unwind the unpredictability and multiple frustrations. There is also a heavy, vague feeling of responsibility to those around us without any clear assignments. Last week's unpredictability frustrated our desire for stable progress. This week's frustrations are likely a bit more manageable. A heady sense of power and freedom comes with the shifts into Sagittarius. There is certainly plenty of chaos which is both unsettling and exhilarating but we feel an urgency to complete investigations and reach definitive conclusions. Nonetheless, the squares to Saturn in Pisces present us with challenging complications. A 'complete picture' is just out of reach but our determination to investigate and go deeper compels us to keep searching for more answers. Essentially, this is a week where preparations must be made, ahead of next Monday's Gemini Full Moon (1:16 AM PST 4° Gemini/Sagittarius). We will need as much insight and information as possible in order to grasp the implications of the developing 'Big Picture' shifts. The most that we can probably hope for this week is some kind of 'outline' — a glimpse of the 'shape of things to come'. Mercury enters the 'shadow zone' of the next retrograde period — December 12th through January 1, 2024 — at the end of the week. Moving back from Capricorn into Sagittarius, Mercury will initiate a review of our integrity, our responsibility, and our deeper understanding of the need to blend our individual vision into the Big Picture shifts that are coming. Neptune, Chiron, Jupiter and Uranus are all still retrograde. By the end of January, they will all be direct and Pluto will have arrived back into Aquarius. The environment will shift dramatically. The insights and answers that we can gather this week will help us prepare for those shifts.

There is a need to pursue a 'deep dive' investigation on Sunday. However, we should not be too sure of ourselves and our conclusions. Complications on Monday lead us to further investigation. We may be asking questions that we aren't prepared to hear the answers to. There is a deep sense of responsibility on Tuesday. The search for important answers is quite intense. There is a watershed of insight available on Wednesday. The chaotic atmosphere could bring some simmering resentments back to the surface. We feel a strong sense of anticipation on Thursday. We're ready to look ahead and indulge is some optimistic planning. The arrival of Mars in Sagittarius on Friday produces a heady sense of power and freedom. Responsibility and determination supports free-thinking ideas and intentions. We ask important questions on Saturday surrounding our deeper purpose and how our individual vision feeds the 'Greater Good'. We may not find a clear perspective but should at least gain some important clues.
