Weekly Astrology Forecast: November 8 - November 14

This week's Scorpio New Moon takes us around a blind corner.

We begin a new lunar cycle mid-week but as we start the week, we're still trying to squeeze every last bit of potential from the last, highly productive Scorpio Full Moon (October 27th - 3° Taurus/Scorpio). Although it may seem difficult, we will need to be ready to let go of any last ditch efforts to prove a point just to save face. The week turns on Wednesday morning's Scorpio New Moon (19° Scorpio 9:47 AM PST). There is balanced quincunx aspect involving the Sun, Jupiter & Uranus, taking us around a blind corner. There is also a Mars/Vesta opposition conjunct the Moon's Nodes, creating a highly demanding but rather rigid environment that increases our fear of making a mistake. High idealism and strict standards could leave many of us ready to walk away from any complications. However, there are plenty of opportunities if we can lighten up without becoming apathetic or indolent. Sunday offers an understanding, compassionate environment as Venus arrives in Libra. Monday finds some of us fighting a losing battle, while others are sitting on the fence and afraid to take a stand at all. The excitement and energy begins to build on Tuesday, ahead of the New Moon, but there are also heightened demands and high idealism. Wednesday's New Moon asks us to take a leap of faith, turn the blind corner and Trust The Process. Even though it may feel as though the landscape has completely changed, the lessons we have learned over the past few months will serve us more effectively than we might think once we begin to move forward. The Moon arrives in Sagittarius on Thursday and we gain a remarkable boost of optimism. However, we'll need to avoid allowing perfect to be the enemy of the good as high idealism and seeming complications threaten to slow us down. By Saturday, boredom or apathy could leave us vulnerable once the Moon arrives in Capricorn late in the afternoon. We'll need to stay alert for sudden shifts or surprising opportunities.
