Weekly Astrology Forecast: November 15 - November 21

Venus & Mars in Libra tees up a focus on relationships.

The arrival of both Mars and Venus in Libra last week set up squares to Pluto in Capricorn. First up is the Venus/Pluto square that culminates near the end of this week. We are quite likely to see relationship challenges or at least some general discontent. The potential for power struggles in relationships can not be overlooked. Nonetheless, these challenges offer the potential for transformative insights by the end of the week once Mercury arrives in Sagittarius on Friday. If we stay alert on Sunday, we may at least be able to avoid sowing the seeds of any potential power struggles. By quietly doing what needs to be done and avoiding any finger pointing, we have the opportunity to make steady progress. Monday may bring on a sense of fatalism but we are offered intuitive clues that suggest alternate routes. If we have gotten stuck in frustration, we may find ourselves simply feeling unwell. Tuesday challenges us to find some way to be more clear and specific about exactly what we want. Mercury moves past the Sun and serves to make our communication more deliberate and our thought process more methodical. However, many of our emotional challenges do not yield to logical, rational dialogue. We will need to find ways to compromise and avoid stirring the pot. Wednesday offers a welcome blend of intuition and intellect that may help to make compromise easier. We also arrive at the First Quarter of the lunar cycle, making it easier to see what we're doing although we may still be blinded by our emotions. Neptune stations to go direct on Thursday, dimming our intuitive guidance a bit. Although the Moon is in Pisces, sympathy and compassion are hard to find in a rather uncertain, needy atmosphere. The Venus/Pluto square is exact on Friday and there is a strong tendency to withdraw, isolate or do anything we can to avoid admitting that we'd like some help. Mercury enters Sagittarius, which opens up space for a broader perspective and a tad bit more optimism than we've been able to muster for most of this week. By Saturday, the relationship clouds seem to clear and we find more confidence along with a can-do attitude. Nonetheless, we'll need to watch out for exaggerated expectations and stay focused on being of service to others instead of simply trying to cash-in for our own benefit.
