The growing power of last Thursday's Gemini New Moon (3:52 AM PDT 19° Gemini) is slowly revealed this week and we arrive at another another Saturn-Uranus Square. There may be a few emotional rough spots and ego vulnerabilities to sort through but our overall focus continues to be centered on finding ways to clearly describe our intellectual insights and individual perspective to others. We slowly begin to find ways to boost our confidence if we can maintain our patience and stay with the process. There are opportunities to show tangible progress and actually express ourselves through definitive action. However, we need to find ways to separate ourselves from the outcomes, that is, it is our effort that is important and not necessarily the short term results. Saturn completes the second of 3 squares with Uranus, keeping progress very slow and requiring deliberate, well-planned activity in order to make any headway at all. As individuals, our focus must remain on clearing away blind spots and continuing to explore new ways of self-expression. The potential for frustration is significant but the restrictions or slowdowns we are dealing with are actually gifts — guideposts — that help us to recognize our limitations as well as our need for others. While our individual message and perspective is important, we need to work with others and join efforts in order to make the most progress. In order to make those connections to others, we need to learn new skills of communication, carefully choosing the words we use and closely monitoring the manner in which we speak them. Although the week begins with a foggy Sun-Neptune square, Mercury is separating a bit from the influence of Neptune as it retrogrades further back into Gemini, providing more opportunities to establish mental clarity and open doors to clearer communication. As we move through the week, the increasingly activating atmosphere foreshadows Mercury's direct station next Tuesday. The more that we can recognize any restrictions or slowdowns as opportunities to more carefully shape our message with integrity, planning and honesty, the more progress we will make this week.

Sunday's Leo Moon conjuncts Mars and begins to help us boost our confidence levels but the process is a rather bumpy emotional ride. By Monday, our confidence has improved but the second of 3 Saturn-Uranus squares completes and we must be prepared for slow, hard fought, progress. We should not expect quick results. The Moon is VOC for most of Tuesday. We may tend to let our guard down a bit and even feel comfortable letting someone else 'run the show'. There are opportunities for some tangible progress on Wednesday under the Virgo Moon, in a trine to Uranus. We should embrace the opportunity to make some effort but stay unattached to outcomes — progress will still be slow. Idealism may produce some new confusion on Thursday. We're gaining more insight into how the words we speak can have an impact on the connections we make. The shifts in our thinking and communicating begin to show powerful results on Friday. We may find some relationship challenges but they are geared towards further clarifying our individual position. By Saturday, the need for integrity and honesty are readily apparent. We can begin to feel ourselves preparing for soon-to-be-direct Mercury's impact our our ability to describe our individual perspective more comprehensively.
