Pisces New Moon - Revolutionary Inspiration

"If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."

— Mark Twain

There is a whole lot of work going on this week but much of it seems to be internal work — preparations for the revolutionary turn at the end of the week, spurred by the Pisces New Moon (26° Pisces 6:11 AM PDT) on Saturday morning. Independence is growing and getting ready to bloom under the coming Spring Equinox next week. We have the opportunity to dig deep into issues of self-worth, the rightness of our vision, and the integrity of our motives and process. Of course, we may not necessarily feel total gratitude for the insecurity and obstacles that surface this week or really recognize them as opportunities. Nonetheless, the importance of checking out the foundations of our beliefs will become increasingly apparent. As well, our strong desire to take independent action demands that we tell the truth about our motives and intentions or face direct consequences for any subterfuge and manipulation we have employed in the pursuit of our goals. In essence, we find a testing ground this week and the lessons that we learn will serve us well, once we turn the corner at New Moon. At the end of the week, Mars arrives in Capricorn, which will begin to push us forward with determined insistence. This Spring's extraordinary changes may seem quite destabilizing but will most certainly put us on a more stable foundation — once the dust settles.

Insecurity and impatience keeps us on edge on Sunday. The forming Sun-Jupiter trine is likely to leave us feeling like we're being asked to work harder than we want. Our view of reality is hard to stabilize on Monday before the Moon arrives in Aquarius mid-afternoon after which, our view changes and we are inclined to dig on and defend our individual perspective on what reality really is. Significant challenges on Tuesday are aimed at clarifying the foundation of our beliefs. Issues of self-worth may make it difficult to find our confidence. However, by Wednesday we gain a new feeling of empowerment to follow our own independent course. On Thursday, we begin to look for potential allies but there is very little interest in compromising our independence in order to gain approval. There is a feeling that we may be on the precipice of revolutionary changes. Some feel particularly protective of their independence on Friday. There is a feeling of turmoil as we recognize how difficult it can be reconcile our need for others with the strong imperative to follow an independent course. Saturday morning's Pisces New Moon inspires a revolutionary turn from inspiration to direct action. Careful planning and organization is important but some may be overconfident and try to take a few shortcuts. However, the upcoming retrograde Mercury will offer an opportunity to go back and re-check our foundations.
