Libra Full Moon - Circumspection
"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished."
— Lao Tzu
Despite the fact that Mercury turned retrograde last week, we start this week with a strong 'head of steam'. However, we find that we are met with a series of extenuating circumstances and emotional obstacles. There is a strong tendency to 'go it alone' in determined isolation. As we wind our way through this week, it becomes increasingly apparent that teamwork is essential to making any progress at all. Concern over appearances lead us to look for shortcuts but hasty or reckless actions are especially likely to create further obstacles this week. Relationship challenges may lead us to trample on 'important' toes or lose the trust of our allies. Essentially, we are being asked to check our facts this week, while also looking deeper into our motivations and the underlying beliefs that may be coloring our assessment. Broad assumptions need to be reconsidered in the light of this week's unfolding developments. We are being led towards greater circumspection and (hopefully) self-discipline as we begin to recognize the importance of consideration and the value of teamwork. By the time we reach Saturday morning's Libra Full Moon (5:36 AM PDT 10° Libra-Aries), we may face increasing indecision as we realize we need to take a step back and re-examine our deeper motivations.
Emotional obstacles don't easily yield to logical solutions on Sunday. A desire to 'keep our own counsel' could leave us out on a limb that's being sawed off. Appearances seem more important on Monday, possibly leading to valuable persuasive ability — assuming we are able to maintain self-discipline. On the other hand, we may find ourselves distracted by ego concerns if we don't have a broader sense of purpose. Self-discipline is even more important on Tuesday and there is a tendency to look for shortcuts. Wednesday brings an unfolding series of new bits of information that will either increase our self-confidence or send us on an uncertain journey of self-examination. The need for further consideration is unmistakable on Thursday, leading to a more circumspect attitude. Venus gets to Taurus on Friday, increasing, at least initially, a determined effort to defend any vulnerable egos or obscure our insecurities for the sake of personal security. By Saturday's Libra Full Moon, it is clear that we need to take a step back and consider both facts and motivations. Indecision may create increasing tension and frustration as we head into next week's Mars-Saturn conjunction.
