Leo Full Moon 2018
Leo Full moon - Creative Improvisation
"To succeed, planning alone is insufficient. One must improvise as well."
— Isaac Asimov
We shift our focus away from following previously laid plans this week once we arrive at Wednesday's Leo Full Moon (5:26 AM PST 11° Leo/Aquarius). This Leo Full Moon is boldly expansive and creative, encouraging us to use our creative imagination to move beyond the planing process and employ creative improvisation to take us to the next level. Flexibility is required in order to deal with an increasingly spontaneous and unpredictable atmosphere. Mercury arrives in Aquarius just after the Full Moon, enhancing our mental and intellectual insight and ability. The early part of the week brings some vulnerability to trusting the wrong people or misplacing our affections. As we shift from the deep, structured atmosphere produced by the last New Moon in Capricorn, we may try to hold on a bit too tightly, looking for something reliable. However, we need to maintain responsibility even as our plans and situations begin to change and evolve. Staying alert and maintaining awareness is the key to staying on top of the unpredictability. Even though we may struggle to find someone to rely on, we shouldn't necessarily retreat into isolated self-sufficiency. As the chaos seems to build, we should not doubt that there are indeed precious bits of important information available from others. Creative new solutions are beginning to develop.
We could see some surprising shifts or conversions by others on Sunday, producing a vulnerable feeling that we may have trusted the wrong people. Optimism may lead us to take unnecessary risks or make impulsive decisions on Monday. Strong emotions begin to take us away from our reliance on careful planning. Activity heats up on Tuesday once the Moon arrives in Leo and confidence levels surge. Our focus shifts to taking bold, dramatic, and exciting action. Wednesday morning's Full Moon produces an expansive, creative atmosphere which encourages us to set aside careful planning and move to the next level through imaginative improvisation. Thursday's chaotic atmosphere may bring some impatience but by maintaining some restraint we will continue to find creative options to explore. Friday's atmosphere is very unpredictable, producing a number of spontaneous developments that require us to set aside our rigid plans and allow room for flexibility. The highly critical atmosphere on Saturday could lead to some face-saving activity. However, we need to be honest and admit whatever failures or shortcomings have been exposed.
