Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction
Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction - Inspired Perspectives
"Unlike a drop of water which loses its identity when it joins the ocean, man does not lose his being in the society in which he lives."
— B. R. Ambedkar
Imagination and creativity are stirred by this week's Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in the sign which they co-rule — Pisces. Idealism and optimism are flowing, no matter what sort of obstacles surface. Our inspiration is being channeled through a strong desire to show our independence and unique perspective, fostered by the waxing lunar cycle that began under the Aries New Moon on March 31st. The independent determination that has been driving us is tempered as we head toward Saturday's Libra Full Moon (11:54 AM 26° Libra/Aries). The Full Moon squares Pluto and may bring significant waves of emotional intensity. We are working towards a better understanding of our individual place in a larger picture. While there are helpful intellectual insights that may be brought to bear on these lessons, intuition will offer us the most helpful clues. We need to look for the broadest possible perspective. Perhaps what is most important to understand about this environment is that we need to step back from seeking simple 'material rewards'. Even though we are determined to stand apart from others in order to display our unique gifts, we must be willing to recognize that we can only really define ourselves within a larger environment. We need to look at this environment with compassion and concern for the well-being of everyone — not simply looking for what's in it for us'. Corrupt intentions, power plays, and manipulation in the pursuit of 'more goodies' will only stall our efforts and we are likely to see our personal gains dissipated. The swirls of inspiration help us to see grand possibilities. We can begin to recognize, as the week progresses, that there is no need to work so hard to stubbornly stand alone. Rather, we can begin to see how assessing our individual capabilities will show us how to make the best contribution to the 'greater good'. Mars arrives in Pisces on Thursday, helping to diffuse our insistence on individual goals and aims. While the the flow of energy is diffused, it is not dissipated. Saturday's Libra Full Moon points us towards assessing the relative strength of our alliances — our personal support system — and turns our focus toward understanding how our unique individuality can serve others and not just ourselves.
There are competing demands for attention on Sunday. We may tend to push our ideas forward with obsessive insistence. Flexibility is hard to manifest. A Sun-Pallas conjunction on Monday offers a wealth of perceptive capability. We may, however, be prone to seeking approval, rather than honestly assessing the best way forward. Tuesday's creative potential is extremely intense under the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction. We will need to be especially careful of only seeking material gain for our efforts, rather than seeking to contribute to a greater effort. We are generally better adapted to the creative energy on Wednesday. Intellect helps us to develop a tangible plan of action. We find a contemplative, philosophical environment on Thursday, which softens the intensity significantly. Mars arrives in Pisces which serves to diffuse the flow of energy to make it less intense but still very effective. There are contradictory demands to deal with on Friday. We are forced to look for compromise and cooperation. Saturday's Libra Full Moon sees us backing off of personal passions and drawing on the wisdom garnered from past experience.
