Mercury's trine to Jupiter expands the reach of our thinking — we can begin to see a bigger picture. Our sense of optimism encourages us — perhaps a bit too much — to expand our reach. There is an important unwinding process underway this week. The Moon is waning after last Thursday's Capricorn Full Moon (11:39 AM PDT 3° Capricorn/Cancer) and Mercury is traveling through the post-retrograde shadow. We are slowing finding ways to clear the foggy confusion and glimpse bits of reliable information. Of course, we shouldn't discount the residual emotional confusion as we look for precise and rational bits of reliable intellectual information. The challenges of handling both the intellectual and emotional unwinding suggests that progress will be haphazard and uneven all week.
