Weekly Astrology Forecast: December 20 - December 26

A Christmas Morning Cancer/Capricorn Full Moon

The last New Moon (December 11th, 19° Sagittarius) initiated a rather chaotic process of observing and sorting through a variety of choices, new ideas and new information in order to find a workable new approach based on our current situation and the facts on the ground. This week brings us to the culmination of that process. Although it may not be apparent in the day-to-day, progression of events, we are slowly and methodically discovering meaningful patterns in many seemingly disconnected bits of information. This week seems to present us with a shifting, mercurial - perhaps even volatile series of different ideas and perspectives that seem to show little hope of coalescing. However, by the Christmas morning Full Moon (3° Cancer/Capricorn 3:11 AM PST) and beyond, we begin to see a way forward that incorporates many of the disconnected pieces into workable new 'Wholes'. Sunday presents a rather challenging environment, requiring extra patience that is eventually rewarded late in the day. The Winter Solstice arrives on Monday, accompanied by a marvelously stabilizing Grand Earth trine. We continue to need patience and some may spend Monday evening brooding over some subtle misunderstandings. We see considerable restless energy on Tuesday but the evening hours offer important opportunities for productive communication. Wednesday offers a preview of the upcoming Full Moon and we begin to see things coming together in exciting new patterns, giving us hope that we can finally begin to embrace a workable new structure. Confidence and optimism are high on Thursday (Christmas Eve) even though the Moon is VOC for most of the day. The early Christmas morning Full Moon (3° Cancer/Capricorn 3:11 AM PST) begins to show us signs of a grand reorganization that brings together many different ideas into a cohesive new approach. Uranus stations direct on Saturday and we are likely to see some resistance to the emerging new structures. No doubt, the upcoming retrograde Mercury (January 5th - January 25th) will take us back over this ground and provide an important opportunity to review, test and strengthen the new approaches and structures that have begun to emerge this week.
