Sun-Uranus Conjunction
Sun-Uranus Conjunction - Unique Perspectives Revealed
"The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly."
— Richard Bach
We are still operating in the wake of February's Chiron/North Node conjunction, when we were challenged to better understand our unique individuality and the message that we are here to share with the world at large. Under this week's Sun-Uranus conjunction, we arrive at the place where we must begin to put our unique perspective into action while continuing to integrate the new streams of information and insights that are flowing faster and faster all around us. With Mercury now direct and the Sun moving out of the Taurus New Moon to make conjunctions with Uranus and Jupiter, we are beginning to take a more 'direct' look at the new atmosphere developing out of last month's exciting and innovative Jupiter-Uranus conjunction. There are especially significant bits of information surfacing which challenge many structural elements of our beliefs. Mercury arrives in Taurus on Wednesday after emerging from the retrograde shadow at the beginning of the week. We begin to find entirely new ideas and new information though sudden flashes of insight, especially under Monday's Sun-Uranus conjunction. There are glimpses of possible new perspectives which may require us to take extra time to 'pause and consider'. We reach the critical 1st quarter phase of the current lunar cycle on Wednesday, suggesting significant activity and tangible developments. We may find that we need to adjust our perspective quite a bit in order to account for this entirely new environment. This is no small challenge! We are essentially forced to review our entire belief structure in order to understand and integrate what we are seeing. With Mercury in Taurus, our investigative approach becomes increasingly purposeful and methodical — especially so under the Virgo Moon on Wednesday and Thursday. Mercury forms a square to Pluto on Thursday, pointing to some degree of obsession, increasing pressure, and a strong desire to come to definitive conclusions. By the time the Sun conjuncts Jupiter on Saturday, the determined search for 'truth' intensifies even further. The search for truth becomes a mission. We are increasingly determined to understand our destiny based upon what we see unfolding before us. Also on Saturday, Venus, ruling a Libra Moon, conjuncts Uranus. We are determined to come to our own independent conclusions and won't find any satisfaction with explanations, solutions, or conclusions that are provided to us by anyone else. The shape, power, and importance of belief — whether we take those beliefs from others or come to our own conclusions — is front and center this week. What we believe determines so much more than we may recognize or acknowledge — how we behave, how we associate and more broadly, how we interact within the society and culture that surrounds us. The stakes of this week's examination of our beliefs are far higher than we may comprehend.
Our intuition is quite productive on Sunday and our confidence is well-grounded. There is quite a bit of new information to sort through. Flashes of insight come in unpredictable waves on Monday. Our confidence builds throughout the day, intensifying our commitment to follow up on the new clues we are finding. Clarity may or may not be comfortable on Tuesday. We may have some challenging interactions with others if we find that our clarity produces discomfort. Our egos may seem to be on the line on Wednesday, increasing our determination. We begin to take a much more methodical approach by the end of the day. Our intellect is looking for a way to put our insights into some kind of understandable order on Thursday. We undertake a painstaking process of rebuilding our beliefs based upon new information. We begin to feel a new sense of direction and purpose on Friday. As we attempt to anchor our beliefs on some sense of order, we may be vulnerable to some kind of self-deception. Increased courage and independence helps us to step away from self-deception on Saturday. Our search for truth is guided by an independent sense of mission and destiny.
