Stationary Uranus - Innovative Breakthroughs

"Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has thought."

— Albert Einstein

This week's developments may seem to occur almost effortlessly as we ride the wave of changes propelled by last week's Aquarius Full Moon. The waning Moon allows some of the pressure to dissipate and so it is easier to follow the process of self discovery that has been initiated over the past few weeks of intense aspects and the retrograde motions of Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, and Chiron — (and even Asteroids Vesta and Juno). Next week Uranus turns retrograde. The stationary Uranus holds a great deal of power this week, opening the door to creative thinking and innovative breakthroughs. Intuition and intellect blend easily. Some of the breakthroughs we see may seem to come out of nowhere. Impatience subsides when we begin to recognize that we need to 'take matters into our own hands' and stop worrying about those who aren't moving fast enough — or just don't seem to 'get it'. There are two interesting 'balanced quincunxes' guiding our way this week. First, Mercury in Virgo moves from a quincunx to Chiron in Aries into a quincunx to Saturn in Aquarius. Detailed intellectual insight blends with innovation and courage. Of course, there are times when it isn't easy to see how to stay centered and focused but as the pattern develops we find meaning that suddenly seems stunningly simple — "How could I not have seen this all the time!?". The second quincunx develops more quickly when the Sun moves into the 'cross hairs' of the Pluto-Neptune sextile. This 'Yod' between the Leo Sun, Pluto in Capricorn, and Neptune in Pisces, highlights the shifts in our relationships with others. We are emboldened to set aside concern over appearances — what others think of us. We may find ourselves in some challenging relationship situations when adjustments are made. However, the creative boldness of the Leo Sun helps us to move past the insecurity and find new ways to show others our 'true self'. This week's shifts are quite significant but are likely to happen quietly, without too much fanfare or disruption. We are turning 'blind corners' this week but without some of the deep concern we might usually feel by taking such risks. Once Uranus turns retrograde next week, we will find ourselves in full 're-evaluation' mode. The revelations will come tumbling out much more quickly and will likely seem much more important. Nonetheless, this week's transformations lay down important groundwork and prepare us for the new round of changes which are on their way.

We may feel significant confusion on Sunday until the Moon arrives in Aries in the afternoon. Nonetheless, intuition is strong and the traction we gain will put us on a solid footing. Monday's fast-moving, active atmosphere requires a cooperative attitude in order to stay balanced and on track. Creative thinking is rewarded. Emotions are strained on Tuesday. We have a hard time nailing down the 'details', leading to some confusion and vulnerability. Relationship challenges surface on Wednesday. Too many questions could throw us off balance unless we find opportunities to solidify our position and avoid going on the defensive. The undercurrent of impatience quietly dissipates on Thursday after several weeks of consternation. We suddenly begin to recognize that we have more power to take independent action than we had realized. Nonetheless, we don't completely give up on others and spend some time on Friday making a 'sales pitch' that encourages others to join our cause. Mars arrives in Gemini on Saturday, sparking some quick independent action and a new wave of curiosity which leads to innovative breakthroughs.
