Saturn Stations Direct - Planning The Future
"The two most important warriors are patience and time."
— Leo Tolstoy
We remain in a period that calls for thoughtful consideration this week. Ripples of our past merge with our future intentions and we have the opportunity to find ways to integrate established tradition into innovative new ideas. Unfortunately, our attempts to bring together the past and the future are prone to creating confusion at this point in the process — especially if we seek ways to impulsively lurch ahead without having laid the proper groundwork or formed the necessary alliances. Pluto turned direct last week, Saturn stations direct this week, and Jupiter and Mercury turn direct next week. Our thoughts are increasingly aimed towards future progress. However, this week's atmosphere is unsteady, uncertain, and wracked with impatience. We are also dealing with unrealistic idealism and a tendency towards perfectionism that keeps stalling our progress as we wade back into the details again and again, looking for the reason that our progress has stalled. The Sun works towards a square to Pluto this week, which won't complete until the beginning of next week. The pressure and impatience builds all week. We may find ourselves dealing with intransigent power dynamics. But we are also prone to seeing imaginary slights that are blown far out of proportion or even completely non-existent. If we focus all of our creativity on imaginary enemies or obstacles, we will miss the opportunity to brainstorm innovative new initiatives. It is time to clear the air, strengthen alliances, and mend fences through the open sharing of our perspectives in the interest of finding common ground. The importance of finding a sure and steady 'support network' can not be overstated. We need all the help that we can get to sort through the confusion of unrealistic idealism and intangible obstacles. We may be inclined to blame others both in our past as well as our current circumstances. When we have good sounding boards to work through this confusion, we will be in far better shape to take action, once the timing is finally right. In essence, we can Dream Big this week, but we need to guard against falling into foggy traps of recrimination, paranoia, and unrealistic expectations that will quickly leave us spiraling towards disappointment. It is through interaction with others that we will be able to stabilize our thinking, clear away debris from the past, and prepare ourselves to move forward with bold and exciting action — soon!
Out of place details are particularly bothersome on Sunday. Moody dissatisfaction comes from the feeling that we can't find an illusory sense of perfection. Intuition may lead us far off track on Monday. There is some tendency to focus on negative potentials or imagined slights. Taming our impulsiveness is the biggest challenge on Tuesday. Impatience keeps us on edge. A Venus-Saturn sextile on Wednesday helps us to slow down and step back from the determination to take ill-timed bold actions. Energy and optimism is stirred on Thursday but the environment is nervous and unsteady. Although we can feel the building potential in the air, we need to recognize that timing is everything. Even though we feel the pressure building, obstacles to forward progress remain. The Moon is VOC nearly all day on Friday and the impulsive energy is especially challenging. We are tempted to make impulsive pronouncements but we need to be willing to continue the conversation. Our focus is scattered on Saturday. The need for stable allies and friends is apparent. We need some help to keep us from going overboard with unrealistic idealism.
