Richard Tarnas' COSMOS & PSYCHE

I'm reading Richard Tarnas' Cosmos And Psyche right now and really enjoying it.  The book is a broad, sweeping examination of history which looks at corresponding angular interaction of the major planets.  He begins the book by discussing what he calls the "disenchantment" of the universe brought about by the overriding scientific enlightenment of the last few centuries. I find the book to be stunning in it's scope and an incredible resource for understanding history.

Tarnas suggests that we may be on the verge of paradigm shift that re-integrates Astrology into broader cultural acceptance. But if we are indeed on the verge of a paradigm shift which brings humanity back to a more widespread acceptance of Astrology, I hope that the paradigm shift occurs by bringing the deepest sense of responsibility that we can muster.

I've been going through a series of "dark places' over the last few months, and that process seems to be directly related to the transit of Pluto over my Moon.  Pluto has moved off of my Moon currently but will move back over my Moon again later this year. I'll hopefully be more prepared than I was the first time around.  The broad perspective of a book such as COSMOS & PSYCHE really has helped me to pull back from my own personal "demon explorations" and recognize that there are general shifts occurring now and I don't really have to take it all so personally.
