Both Mars and Venus have arrived almost simultaneously in Aquarius. With Mars-Venus in Aquarius, the relationship dynamic between the two planets has changed significantly. Venus, now in mutual reception with Uranus in Taurus, gains a great deal more power. We find more freedom and confidence to express our creativity and unique perspectives boldly and openly. The imperatives we feel under this optimistic, waxing lunar cycle, initiated under last Wednesday's Pisces New Moon (9:36 AM PST 12° Pisces), is to describe ourselves in just the right way — without really ruffling too many feathers in the process. However, the Capricorn concerns over 'appropriateness' and 'acceptability' take a back seat to a new push towards creative self-expression. The Aquarian capacity for detachment offers the space we need in order to share our ideas and insights with others without quite so much concern surrounding how we will be judged. The optimism we feel from the Sun's conjunction with Jupiter is carried into a Sun-Neptune conjunction, which can produce grand inspiration — but inspiration that is potentially fraught with overly idealistic self-delusion. Mercury's arrival in Pisces on Wednesday, joining Jupiter and Neptune, provides additional intuition but may also make it difficult to convey our message clearly and effectively to others. Nonetheless, we may see the deep power of emotional fortitude blended with sharp intellect and clear, intuitive vision that suggests a powerhouse of strength and accomplishment. Venus, which now has extra influence, has a desire to avoid disturbing stability if possible, employing tact and diplomacy to whatever extent is possible. Our focus shifts towards finding ways to express ourselves with confidence but also with plenty of finesse. The challenge we have this week is to 'stand in our truth' with quiet confidence. We will need to balance our ambitions with moral integrity in order to truly be sure of our footing. Ultimately, this week's challenge is to find our 'place' within a broader context of some kind. Then, once we have identified our unique 'place' we can begin to work on stabilizing ourselves at that 'place' in a way that displays and describes our unique, individual perspective.

There is a strong and surprising sense of freedom in Sunday's environment. Our creativity is protected by a feeling of detachment that sets aside concern over approval and 'appropriateness'. We begin to look for a new sense of stability on Monday that does not rely on any single source of support. We need to maintain a broad perspective. We see a brand new sense of self-confidence on Tuesday along with a flood of new ideas and exciting interaction. Wednesday's atmosphere is chaotic. We are likely to rely on intuition in order to keep our short-term goals flexible but there is a strong imperative to relay our ideas to others as quickly as possible. There is little clear direction on Thursday. We'll do better by sticking with previous plans or comfortable routines. Self-confidence is well grounded in clear facts on Friday. We feel a strong sense of freedom that will need to be tempered with responsibility in order to avoid seeming to be eccentric. Saturday's atmosphere supports the blending of intellectual and emotional determination into a powerhouse of strength and accomplishment. We find detachment from past failures.
