Mars-Uranus-North Node - Powerful Energy

This week is dominated by Monday's Mars-Uranus-North Node conjunction which spins up powerful energy. The powerful new burst of energy feeds directly into the processes initiated by the regrade motion of both Jupiter and Chiron in Aries, which have directed our focus towards self-care, self-respect, and self-knowledge. While these processes have only just begun, this week's potent conjunction acts like a 'rocket thrust' with both the opportunities and dangers that such an image suggests. The potential for tremendous accomplishment is clear but so, too, is the potential for violent or destructive responses. In the moment, we may see much of the activity as surprising and spontaneous. However, there is an unfolding process initiated that must proceed in an orderly fashion and, looking back on this week's events, we may see things in a completely different way. Our individual understanding, insight, and response are what are important in the moment — what we see and learn in this spontaneous environment. As we proceed through the week, we can begin to look for ways to share our insight and understanding with others. This presents us with the opportunity to 'merge' our perspectives into a larger 'whole'. While there are likely to be plenty of contradictions and conflicts to be resolved, the more that our individual perspectives are shared — woven together into 'whole fabric' of many different perspectives — the deeper our understanding of a clear and consistent, unifying clarity of vision can be developed. The powerful fixed sign energy and the forming Mars-Saturn square, which will complete next Sunday, can have us ending the week feeling 'locked down' or 'locked in'. Some may experience a feeling of greater safety, while others feel only restriction under the long-arc Fixed Sign Cross. We may also feel that our individual power is intensified. However, our response may be to quickly try to hand off our power like a hot potato — giving it away rather than owning it along with our individual truth. The processes that are underway will not complete quickly. We will need to have patience, both for ourselves and others, in order to stay with these processes and avoid frustration and recrimination.

The Sun's trine to Jupiter on Sunday expands our unique, individual will power, providing courage and determination. Individual responsibility is required in order to temper our determination with awareness of what is actually happening around us. Monday's energy offers tremendous potential for accomplishment and positive changes but is not easily harnessed. We are likely to feel some sense of a New Mission on Tuesday. We may be tempted to edge into self-indulgence or seek to avoid trying to fully understand the process that is underway. The pressures that we feel on Wednesday are immense. We are looking for ways of sharing our insights with others but there are numerous conflicts and contradictions to resolve. We may be tempted to get lost chasing 'dead ends' on Thursday. Some may think that any slowdown is a sign that "it's all over". There is a sense of power felt on Friday that may seem 'too hot to handle' We need to readily own our individual power and our individual truth. We begin to gain a broader perspective on Saturday. We need to have patience with ourselves and those around us.
