Waning Moon
Waning Moon - Unmoored
"... revolution is but thought carried into action."
— Emma Goldman
The frustration from last week's Mars-Saturn conjunction continues to unwind and dissipate this week while the Moon wanes in light and Mercury completes the review (retrograde) process. It isn't easy to gain traction — even in an effort to express the residual frustration. Tensions seem particularly high for a waning Moon environment and we are offered few outlets for direct action. However, we aren't really aimlessly striking out either. There is plenty of intellectual curiosity and energy to further explore ideas — even though we meet obstacles when we actually try to put them into action. We'll do better to take some notes on this week's insights that we can refer to next week. Isolating feelings of superiority may also crop up that seem to threaten alliances or leave us feeling unmoored. The challenges, conflicts and obstacles that we face this week keep us off balance even though intuitive inspiration encourages us to take a journey of discovery. Essentially, this week offers a great deal of intellectual and intuitive inspiration that has the potential to lay the ground work for real action and activity once we arrive at next Sunday's New Moon (April 15th, 6:57 PM PDT 26° Aries). If we can use this week to visualize our goals and further expand our perspective, we will find ourselves well prepared when the time is right to take action.
Cleverness and a ready wit only seems to stir up trouble on Sunday but there aren't many other outlets for the considerable energy levels. Curiosity allows a more open environment on Monday and there is some increased willingness to consider creative alternatives. The Sun squares Pluto on Tuesday, which increases tension. However, the Venus-Mars trine helps to soften the blows and smooth over any open conflicts. The Pisces Waning Moon on Wednesday only seems to create uncertainty in friendships and alliances. A lucky break may only lead to further questions and uncertainty. By Thursday, intuition is strengthened and offers important information that helps us stay on track. Even though the Moon is VOC most of the day Friday, visualization is extremely powerful. We shouldn't be afraid to dream big. Visualization is even more powerful on Saturday, ahead of the next New Moon.
