This week is full of anxious intensity as the Mars/Pluto square builds all week. Although we are in a waning Moon phase, there is a strong desire to push forward even though the intentions or agenda is not at all clear. The Saturn/Neptune square is separating this week but we still feel the residual self-doubt and disappointment, which only increases the feeling that we need to do something. Since we may not feel personally capable of making the right decision, we are extremely vulnerable to charming, Snake Oil salesmen who seem to display the confidence that we are lacking. The week begins with a strong desire for quiet contemplation. Nonetheless, the conflicts between differing belief structures seem to create some internal chaos. Monday presents us with the most charming temptations and some will take the opportunity to try a few clever maneuvers in order to make quick personal gains. Tuesday's atmosphere explodes the feeling of nervous impatience which is likely to provoke some kind of action. However, there is little steady endurance to support any long term progress even if we think we're sure about what needs to be done. The charm and intellect we see on Wednesday could be particularly misleading and we are most vulnerable to believing that those with the most confidence have the best chance of being right. The chaos breaks out into the open on Thursday and there are wild ideas and opinions coming from all corners. We need to understand that we cannot compare the outer confidence of others with our own inner uncertainty. In other words, it isn't likely that anyone is really as sure as they appear to be. If we can quiet the noise enough, we have a chance to hear the still small voice telling us we need to continue to maintain our patience and wait for a better opportunity to make our case. Venus arrives in Scorpio on Friday, helping to provide an opening for cooler heads to prevail. By Saturday, the intensity of the Mars/Pluto square peaks, ahead of the exact square on Sunday. We'll need to focus on a responsible assessment of our situation and not let the intensity lead us down the road of irrational frustration and meaningless action.
