Mars in Gemini - Active Communication

"In all chaos, there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.'"

— Carl Jung

There is significant chaos this week, developing out of last week's Virgo New Moon which squared Mars in Gemini. The chaos is serving to 'jump start' the overall re-evaluation assignment that we have been given. We may struggle to bring 'order out of chaos' but we are likely to ultimately acknowledge that it is too big of a job for us as individuals. It certainly isn't that we lack motivation or personal self-confidence. However, the nervous energy that is swirling this week likely has us intent on finding a quick, tangible 'return to order'. But the results don't develop as we may expect and the chaos remains. We have several opportunities to begin to build camaraderie and teamwork — which certainly offers some potential to enlist and motivate others in the pursuit of our individual objectives and goals. Nonetheless, we may push too hard and lose control of our message. The opposition of Mercury in Libra to Jupiter makes it difficult to maintain a clear, balanced message and perspective. If we recognize the need to step back in order to find some sense of balance, we are prone to feel that we are just 'waffling' or wasting important time. The lesson of this lunar cycle, initiated by the Virgo New Moon, is really to 'trust the process' even though the energy is so stirred up. Venus moves through a balanced quincunx with Neptune and Pluto from Tuesday until Friday. The pressure to develop creative resolutions and establish some kind of order creates extraordinary tension. While we may try to find some kind of harmonious balance, we are likely to find ourselves getting 'stuck' on various details — issues that we aren't willing to just sidestep or overlook in order to maintain the peace. The more that we can focus on incremental steps and methodical investigations, the better we will do in tolerating the chaotic environment. A single-minded focus on getting quick results will only feed the chaos and cause us to miss the important opportunities that are available to us — which is to lay the groundwork for future progress and the re-organization that will follow this re-evaluation process.

We get a glimpse of some kind of orderly process on Sunday, as the Sun begins to pull away from the square to Mars. There are plenty of raw materials to work with but a painstaking, methodical approach is the only way to make any progress at all. There is a flurry of new activity on Monday which is likely to have us struggling to 'bring order out of chaos'. Motivation is strong but quick results are out of reach. Self-confidence is strong on Tuesday but the nervous energy keeps us on edge. We do better to focus on appreciation for the effort that other are putting forward. We struggle to keep ourselves grounded with tangible goals on Wednesday. We need to slow down enough to allow time for adjustment and consolidation. There may be some hope of improved communication on Thursday but we may quickly get stuck on small details. There are elements surfacing that we aren't able to easily sidestep or overlook. We may feel significant tension on Friday. Unexpected developments lead to further examination or discussion. With the lack of smooth progress this week, we may feel some sense of disillusion on disappointment on Saturday. The process of re-evaluation could feel quite frustrating.
