Jupiter Stations Direct - Faith and Belief

"Realize you're a slave to your mind, break free

Just give me something to believe in"

Young The Giant & Alex Salibian

This week represents an important turning point in the ongoing process of unwinding outmoded beliefs and restructuring our overall approach. The retrograde periods of Mercury (April 9 -May 3), Saturn (April 6 - August 25), and Jupiter (February 6 - June 9) have all been working on restructuring our beliefs. We have been urged to separate ourselves from adherence to beliefs we have inherited or things we were told to believe so that we can finally come to our own conclusions. Jupiter stations direct this week, while making a quincunx to Neptune. We are asked to make significant adjustments to our faith and our beliefs as we turn a blind corner. Once that corner is turned, we come upon a particularly chaotic scene. It isn't easy to determine what to focus on and clarity is only achieved when focusing on the 'big picture'. Mars enters Cancer, suggesting increasing importance is placed on protecting those within our close family circle. Venus arrives 'Home' in Taurus, which helps to improve our inner sense of stability and personal power. The stakes are raised by the Full Moon, which arrives on Friday morning (6:09 AM PDT 18° Sagittarius/Gemini). We are challenged to pull order from the chaos and come to some conclusions. If we don't feel capable of deciding what to believe, the temptation is to just let someone else decide — not really the best strategy! Even when we let someone else make the decisions, we can't escape our personal responsibility for the outcome.

The Sun's square to Neptune on Sunday produces some significant chaos. Mars gets to Cancer and the potential for martyrdom in defense of others is particularly dangerous. The Moon gets to Scorpio on Monday, increasing the feeling of protectiveness and possibly isolation. Venus arrives in Taurus on Tuesday, producing a welcome, stabilizing influence. Wednesday's strong sense of responsibility helps us to maintain a 'steady as we go' approach, even though the Moon is VOC for most of the day. It isn't easy to blend Thursday's emotional and intellectual curiosity, potentially creating an internal schism. We need to stay particularly adaptable within the highly unpredictable atmosphere. Friday's Full Moon raises the stakes and demands we draw conclusions based upon the broadest perspective we can find. Jupiter stations direct and the temptation to just "let someone else decide" increases. The pressure drops on Saturday but there is also and accompanying 'let down'. Although we may feel a 'void', there are also opportunities to fill that 'void' however we want.
