The Moon is in Taurus tonight, setting up squares to Mercury and Neptune.  Fixed squares are usually maddening for me and it's taken me years to learn to keep from really exploding when I'm dealing with the obstacles they 'offer'.

Tonight, I'm working on transferring the Pluto's Child domain registration to my server so that the site will actually be available where it's supposed to be available.  And I'm having fits trying to understand what Comcast needs me to do to point the site to the new servers.

Arg.

So, I'm sort of stuck in virtual purgatory as I wait for the DNS servers to update and I'm not really sure that I've jumped through the hoops that Comcast wants me to jump through.  But I'm feeling good about moving forward despite the obstacles.

I've been thinking about writing on my perspective on Astrology for a number of years.  I'm not a practicing Astrologer at the moment although I have consulted clients in the past through Esther & Son (essentially Mom's business).  But I continue to use Astrology on a daily basis as a tool to help me navigate through life.

Whatever the medium turned out to be, I've always thought that I could offer a somewhat unique perspective having grown up around Astrology and been caught in the crossfire between skeptics (Dad) and believers (Mom) for many, many years.

So here I am, late on a Friday night, waiting to 'go live' with this experiment called Pluto's Child.  I plan on doing some kind of FAQ on how I came up with that name - Pluto's Child - and what the 'gizmos' (the applets that calculate numerology and astrological info) are intended to provide for visitors as well as some background on my mom and what and how she taught me about astrology as she learned it and later taught and wrote about it.
