Scorpio/Taurus Full Moon - What is Truth?
"But what is truth? Is truth unchanging law? We both have truths. Are mine the same as yours?"
Pontius Pilate to Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ Superstar— Andrew Lloyd Webber
The growing force of this week's Taurus Full Moon is powerful and determined. We will see the growth in an expanding array of choices that we find when we begin to embrace our own independent perspective — our own unique, expanding understanding of our truth. The determined independence is, nonetheless, balanced by the patient willingness to compromise. The intensity and power of growth is revealed through extraordinary adaptability this week. The more that we bring active goodwill along with our new and expanding view of truth, the more growth that we will experience. Of course, the skill with which we use this week's energy will vary. There are distinct points where we may feel more inclined to separate ourselves rather than continue to engage in negotiation and compromise. As well, restlessness, distraction and various 'tricks of fate' have the potential to derail our progress. Determined independence can lead to blind arrogance, causing us to lose sight of the greater good and ultimately slow or stop our own growth process.
Intensity is balanced with compromise and adaptability on Sunday in a positive, intellectual atmosphere that offers the potential for expansive growth. A responsible sense of duty is added to the mix on Monday. However, the atmosphere may begin to feel increasingly unstable and tenuous under the extra weight of that responsibility. The instability may even produce a desire to abandon negotiation in order to preserve our independence. We feel more hopeful on Tuesday, although there may be a few distractions which challenge our determination. Wednesday offers a number of choices to be considered. However, the Moon goes VOC after the Full Moon, which leaves most of the choices 'simmering' until Thursday. The Moon arrives in Sagittarius on Thursday morning, bringing a theatrical flair which helps us to display our unique perspective more effectively. Any discouragement or impatience is hidden behind a mask of enthusiasm. We may find ourselves working very hard to continue to display enthusiasm on Friday — cleverly side-stepping any 'inconvenient truths'. By Saturday, the emphasis on appearance may lead to misunderstandings and an apparent lack of trust. Nonetheless, determined efforts to keep the conversation going will continue to offer opportunities to build bridges of understanding and compromise.
