Weekly Astrology Forecast: April 24 - April 30
Mercury Retrograde in Taurus - Rebuilding Support
Mercury turns retrograde this week (April 28th - May 23rd), providing a remarkable opportunity to clear away debris from our past and let go of lingering disappointments and resentments. There is particularly strong support for rebuilding or stabilizing our support network in order to expand our options and consider new plans for future expansion. The trick is to stay with the review process and avoid launching grand new initiatives until Mercury turns direct again near the end of May. We shouldn't sell ourselves short by setting our sights too low — stick with the process and fall in love with the journey. There is an interesting birth process that begins on Sunday and the cycle seems to restart on Monday. The early part of these two days feels rigid or constricted. We need to muster the courage required to break out of the shell and reach out to others in order to share perspectives. Tuesday brings on an 'all or nothing' philosophy that encourages some recklessness. However, there is very little energy behind the reckless attitude, which should keep us from going too far off course. By Wednesday, there is a building sense of destiny or mission that begins to propel us forward with building self-confidence. We reach the tipping point on Thursday when Mercury turns retrograde. We begin a sort of spiritual 'Spring Cleaning', helping us to let go of any excess baggage that is slowing us down. Nonetheless, the Moon's square to Venus, late in the day, may produce some transient misunderstandings. Venus arrives in Taurus on Friday, which will eventually help us to regain a more comfortable sense of security. However, Friday's heightened passions seem to make the transition particularly challenging. Saturday's opportunities could be easily missed. Rather than seeking to build or acquire, we need to stay in the realm of an exploration of ideas in order to make the most of the increasing self-confidence.
