Weekly Horoscope: July 17 - July 23
July Full Moon - Resolution
There is a calm, controlled, powerful organizational capacity in the July Full Moon (July 19, 3:56 PM PDT 27° Capricorn/Cancer) this week, providing intuitive guidance to help us find remarkable resolutions to challenging problems. However, there is also a strong desire for personal freedom and independence that may make it difficult to embrace any solutions that require us to compromise our independence in any way. We may also be hampered by a focus on appearances, which aren't necessarily grounded in deeply held principles. The Sun arrives in Leo on Friday, further increasing the focus on display, appearance and approval. However, the muted, controlled atmosphere of the Full Moon may only breed increasing insecurity and uncertainty if the level of approval is not as emphatic as we think it should be. As we go through the week, we are increasing prone to disappointment when we feel that others are not living up to the standards and ideals the way we think they should. The Moon arrives in Capricorn early Sunday afternoon and we begin to feel the controlled pressure of the coming Full Moon. The muted atmosphere may leave some feeling less approval than they think is due. Monday brings the dawning awareness that resolutions are possible but steady determined effort is required. However, if we are expecting quick results, we will likely be disappointed. Tuesday's Full Moon brings the organizational capacity that offers promising resolutions. However, the fear of losing our individual identity may hold us back from definitively embracing any suggestions. We are likely to see at least a few personality clashes on Wednesday. Ego-centered activity seems to be mainly centered on locking in personal gains instead of supporting broader, balanced approaches. Individual confidence is bolstered on Thursday but distrust of the established order may lead to some intense clashes between different points of view. The Sun's arrival in flashy Leo on Friday may only increase the desire for approval. However, we are unlikely to feel safe enough to ask for the reassurance that we need in order to reduce personal insecurity. By Saturday, uncertainty, indecision and insecurity cloud the picture significantly. Although the resolutions offered by the Full Moon are still on the table, the individual demands for personal freedom seem to only sow confusion and keep the options for compromise at bay.
