Capricorn New Moon
Capricorn New Moon - Organizing Principles
"The key to organizing an alternative society is to organize people around what they can do, and more importantly, what they want to do."
— Abbie Hoffman
There is a deep and powerful organizational process underway this week. This Wednesday's Capricorn New Moon (9:12 PM PST 4° Capricorn) — Christmas Day — sets the stage for the unveiling of the wisdom of Jupiter in Capricorn. These are, in essence, the last minute preparations for next month's Saturn-Pluto conjunction which 'perfects' on January 12th, 2020, following the January 10th Cancer/Capricorn Full Moon (11:21 AM PST 20° Cancer/Capricorn). The ultimate focus this week is on finding our individual 'voice'. There is strong pressure to break free of Capricorn's limitations under the Sun's square to Chiron and trine to Uranus. The wisdom of Jupiter begins to come through and serves to organize the individual expression into naturally forming 'channels' or currents of thought. Wherever these naturally occurring channels are formed, we are likely to see new leaders or new leadership objectives emerge. Mercury arrives in Capricorn by the end of the week, helping to stabilize our thinking and encouraging us to focus on clear goals and objectives. The approach of next month's Saturn-Pluto Conjunction is palpable this week in the reorganization of basic structures — both personal and societal. The presence of Jupiter in this mix is working to expand the boundaries of possibilities, especially in the way we express our unique, individual inspiration, vision, and purpose. The most significant challenge in this process is to avoid working too hard in order to please others at the expense of our own personal vision and integrity.
We begin to feel some easing of limitations and restrictions on Sunday. There is significant pressure to break free and find our own 'voice'. By expressing ourselves honestly, we can make important new connections with others. These connections create powerful healing bonds on Monday and individual voices seem to somehow be in harmony. The fog lifts further on Tuesday. We have another chance to explore the possibilities that surfaced last week. Wednesday's New Moon sets us off on a course towards a natural reorganization based upon our individual ideas, philosophical principles, and renewed confidence. Thursday is a day to 'pause and consider' before taking any impulsive leaps. We need to check our plans and foundations very carefully. There may be sudden shifts in direction on Friday — course corrections based upon Thursday's considerations. Our thinking becomes more grounded on Saturday as Mercury arrives in Capricorn, joining the Sun, Jupiter, Ceres, Saturn, and Pluto!
