Tuesday's Cancer New Moon (12:31 PM PDT 10° Cancer) offers powerful growing energy and increasing vitality. This new beginning also offers increased freedom. We are more willing to leave behind unworkable structures in a determined pursuit of truth. Clarity improves all week. Mars arrives in Leo, opening another energy channel but increasing impatience and encouraging sharp tongues as it moves toward a square to Uranus and a conjunction to the stationing Mercury (which turns retrograde on July 7th). The New Moon is an important turning point but it's also a blind corner where it may sometimes feel as though we are giving up too much security. However, creative inspiration seems to hold our attention at least long enough for us to get through the wilderness — leadership is missing or highly erratic. We should remember that any outbursts of impatience and frustration will be subject to review under the retrograde Mercury. Mars in Leo brings an increase in confidence and dramatic demonstrations and encourages Mercury towards bombastic pronouncements. However, the upcoming retrograde Mercury will challenge our confidence and independent thinking. The more that we can stay grounded in stable principles the easier it will be to navigate the somewhat difficult personalities that are likely to emerge loudly over the next few weeks. Essentially, we make an important turn towards truth and clarity this week but it is only a beginning and we should expect to encounter plenty of obstacles and push back as we seek to build on this week's creative seed of determination and inspiration.

Sunday's potential for progress may be undercut by senseless gossiping or unnecessary worries. The 'noise' is distracting but there important preparations to be made. Mars arrives in Leo on Monday. Nervous chatter may keep us on edge as concerns over security increase. The New Moon on Tuesday establishes a powerful growing force and offers increased confidence and vitality. The increased confidence may lead some to overshoot the mark but the new feeling of freedom is encouraging. Venus arrives in Cancer on Wednesday, instilling a bit more circumspection and sensitivity to confidence levels. There is unsettled activity under a VOC Moon. Thursday may be rather challenging as unsettled and erratic activity feels increasingly threatening to our security. Impatience builds. Another all-day VOC Moon on Friday has things feeling completely out of control and there are few leaders to show us the way towards stability. However, clarity improves dramatically on Saturday.
