2017 Taurus New Moon - Determined Creative Vision

This week turns on the 2017 Taurus New Moon (6° Taurus 5:16 AM PDT), after which a bold, new creative vision begins to take hold, backed up by a strong, intuitive sense of direction. As Venus moves out of Pisces and away from the challenging but important square to Saturn, Chiron takes over the conversation, moving into a new square with Saturn, which pushes us even closer to finding our deep, individual, inner wisdom. Mercury is slowing down and giving us the chance to tie up any loose ends. At the same time, we can begin to look in new directions and make plans to move forward with a strong sense of purpose, guided by an improved connection to that 'still, small voice' within. We are beginning to hear the first whispers of the soon-to-form Uranus-Saturn trine, which will further strengthen our newly redefined, individual belief structures. We'll find that we're developing a newfound sense of confidence to share our inner vision and understanding with others.

The Moon's conjunction with Venus on Sunday offers a dreamy sense of inspiration and good will. However, the Moon's arrival in Aries later in the day starts the gears turning and by Monday, there is some pretty strong determination to make something happen. However, the activity comes in 'fits and starts' and any restrictions are bound to produce some frustrated outbursts in between the progress. We turn toward a more orderly process of review on Tuesday as Mercury moves back into an exhilarating conjunction with Uranus. On Wednesday, the 2017 Taurus New Moon brings a slowly developing sense of new possibilities. By Thursday, we may feel ready to take a few chances in the hope of making a quick strike. However, Mercury is still retrograde and we need to maintain an easy does it, responsible approach and avoid succumbing to an overwrought sense of grandiosity. Venus gets back into Aries on Friday, possibly encouraging some of us to go on offense. There's more talk than action, though. Nonetheless, Saturday brings an amazing amount of follow-through. Although the progress may seem incredibly chaotic, there are exciting opportunities to bring forth our inner wisdom in ways that others can understand and connect with.
