Venus in Aries

Venus is joining Mars, Jupiter and Uranus in Aries (oh yeah, and Mercury Retrograde in Aries too!)  tomorrow. That's lovely, I guess, if you're an Aries. Very exciting if your Sun sign is Aries, I'd imagine.  My problem is that my South Node is in Aries and all the Aries ACTION just wears me out.  Sure there's all of this incredible energy everywhere but it just really gets me overheated - I stay up too late, I can become easily excitable or I just can't take all of the "excitement" energy swirling around me.

My South Node in Aries has given me less problems over time so hopefully the Uranus transit coming up in 5 or 6 years won't be devastating.  As I view the South Node, it's the place where you are vulnerable and also where you are drained - in good way, though, if you are able to 1) let go and 2)stay honest.  It's important to work on staying honest because the vulnerability works against you if you are trying to cover something up.

When I'm in trouble with my Aries South Node, it's because I'm fighting against something that would be better negotiated by focusing on the opposing Libra North Node.  If I go on the offensive, I'm sunk.  If I stand back and keep my perspective with out getting defensive, I'll probably be okay.

Just today, I helped my sister negotiate a contract with someone who came up with all of these really ludicrous demands.  I was able to say "hey, they're just trying to move the bottom line, they don't really want all this crazy stuff."  My sister worked it out okay - her North Node is in Aries - but all of the back and forth just wore me out.
