Mercury stations direct at the beginning of this week and Venus stations direct — ruling Saturday's Libra Full Moon (5:21 PM PDT 23° Libra/Aries) — at the end of the week. Mercury almost gets back to complete a trine to Mars this week but races ahead before Mars catches up to make the connection. Essentially, we are feeling ready to communicate new perspectives but connecting our words with actions demands focused awareness and strong connections to those around us. There is rising optimism and idealism this week, fostered by the Sun's sextile to Jupiter at the beginning of the week. The Sun also heads towards a conjunction with Chiron which will complete right before the Full Moon on Saturday. Venus is conjunct Saturn and sextile Uranus all week as it stations to go direct. The desire to communicate our new, unique, individual perspectives is beginning to come into clear view. The Venus-Saturn conjunction suggests some tendency to make sacrifices in order to pursue a higher purpose but the conjunction also points to a solid, well-grounded, and values-based sense of mission. The basic theme of the current lunar cycle is to find ways to correct errors and missteps in our past through an examination and review of old perspectives and past mistakes. Certainly, some self-doubt and caution can weigh on our new sense of purpose. However, we are finally reaching the point where we feel ready to act on our improved perspectives — inspiration and idealism begin to emerge like a seed breaking open, ready to reach upward and display new growth and insight. The Sun-Chiron conjunction in Aries at the Full Moon is midway between the Venus-Saturn/Uranus sextile, putting additional focus on the importance of communicating our individual perspective. At the Full Moon, a Libra/Taurus-Pisces YOD is activated (Moon in Libra, Uranus in Taurus, Saturn-Venus in Pisces). The essential lesson of this YOD is to understand how to find a clarity of purpose within ourselves and then share that message with the world around us. The Sun-Chiron conjunction at the focal point of the YOD activates a need to demonstrate who we are and ANNOUNCE what we can see from the new perspective that has been fostered by the combined retrograde phases of Mercury and Venus that are finally coming to an end this week. We seem to finally be offered the hope of a 'Spring Awakening' this week but in perhaps a somewhat surprising context: the rugged individuality of the Aries (Spring) initiatives are intensely focused on sharing with and connecting to others. The restless energy of the Aries Sun is informed by broad new perspectives that must be shared in cooperation and collaboration with others in order to be fully realized by the Libra Full Moon. The Libra intention to find balance is especially focused on justice and protocol, while offering a surprising amount of charm and peaceful order. As Mercury and Venus move forward and eventually emerge from the shadows of their respective retrogrades phases over the next few weeks, "more will be revealed" through the process of sharing and interaction with those around us. The co-mingling of new perspectives and insights will offer further growth as we head towards the next round of breakthroughs which will be offered by Saturn's ingress into Aries in May and the ingress of Uranus into Gemini early in July.

Sunday's atmosphere is highly optimistic but needs focused awareness in order to effectively connect with others. The challenge is staying grounded. There is a great deal of aggressiveness on Monday that is intent on 'spreading the word' in some way or another. The desire to express new perspectives is coming into view. Our attempts to share our unique, individual perspective is shared using an asymmetrical approach on Tuesday. Conversations are intense but aren't likely to go 'over the edge'. We have an opportunity to weed through any number of different ideas and perspectives on Wednesday. The best ideas seem to rise to the surface naturally. Thursday's activity is fraught with sharp elbows and significant tension. Self-doubt can produce deep frustration. Inspiration and idealism emerge on Friday. Our focus is on justice and protocol. There is a surprising amount of charm in Saturday's environment, helping us to 'keep our head' and pursue a considered course. There is little doubt that we are painfully aware of any past mistakes but we are still determined to come to grips with the past and move forward more responsibly.
