This Monday's Gemini New Moon (3:01 AM PDT 12° Gemini) offers powerful — but extremely delicate — creative inspiration. Although our focus is scattered and there are potent cross-winds of skepticism, we seem to be drawn towards inspired, creative solutions. Some may see this powerful inspiration as nothing but a Black Hole that is sucking us into a dangerous void of uncertainty. Concerns over safety and security produce a rigid but increasingly irrelevant determination to maintain the status quo. We may be tempted to shout, "Hey people, we're crossing the Rubicon here!". However, we're more likely to stay quiet but impatient, even though we can't avoid following our curiosity and exploring the creative inspiration that we feel deep within. Mercury arrives in Cancer on Tuesday, which helps to begin to resolve the conflicts between rigidity and new ideas. But by Saturday, when Venus arrives in Gemini, we begin to find a way to adjust our approach and sell our vision to a wider audience. As Mars moves toward a creative trine to Neptune and an activating, if challenging, opposition to Saturn, we begin to recognize that there is, in fact, something profound and new on the horizon. Mars won't complete those two aspects until next week, but the stage is set this week. We'll need to 'keep the faith' and try to stay in touch with a Big Picture perspective as inspiration and doubt swirl — around us and deep inside of us — this week.

Intellectual curiosity on Sunday seems to draw us out of the rather emotional spiral we faced last week. Our thoughts quicken and curiosity keeps us looking for excitement. Monday's Gemini New Moon sets us off on an inspirational, creative new journey. Even though focus is scattered, rigid attempts to keep things stable are only likely to produce impatience. Attempts to bring stability may threaten to strangle off our delicate, inspirational creative pipeline on Tuesday. Mercury arrives in Cancer, which may turn our attention to what is wrong and distract us again from the building inspiration. Wednesday brings an early morning Moon-Mars conjunction, followed by a stifling Moon-Saturn opposition. There is a strong aversion to 'rocking the boat' even though we are looking for something different. There is a skeptical desire for security and safety on Thursday that keeps the brakes on our creative pursuit. We may be rather prone to withdraw when faced with negativity on Friday. Venus arrives in Gemini on Saturday and we begin to see how to adjust our approach and sell a bold new vision and channel our inspiration into tangible, productive new and creative solutions.
