Libra-Aries Full Moon - Things Have Changed
"Oh light the sky and hold on tight"
This week begins with a highly energizing Grand Fire Trine that is full of passionate intensity but short on focus. The approach of Friday's early morning Libra-Aries Full Moon (4:12 AM PDT 29° Libra/Aries) keeps us aware that the stakes are rising. Mercury leaves the shadow of the last retrograde phase and arrives in Aries on Wednesday, establishing a mutual reception with Mars in Gemini that will offer more direct communication. If we are paying attention, we will immediately recognize that things have changed. We leave the period (of the last retrograde Mercury) where we are looking to our past for answers and insights. Sharp tongues are emboldened and intuitive flashes come mid-sentence. Instead of wading through the foggy visions of Pisces, we suddenly begin to open up and recognize we have a voice!. The building imperatives that come along with the Full Moon keep flexibility and adaptability to a minimum but there are still important reasons to keep communication lines open. The more that we can remain detached from the apparent standoff of opposing perspectives, the more effective we will be. Even though there seems to be little flexibility we should remember that 'words have power'. By the end of the week, the Sun leaves Aries for determined Taurus. However, Venus — ruling Taurus — arrives in Aries. The Aries independence is funneled through Taurean determination. The shifts we see this week will continue to play out through the waning lunar cycle and be especially apparent when the Sun conjuncts Uranus next Monday (April 22nd).
Sunday's free-flowing, high energy Grand Fire Trine seems full of excitement and promise. Passions are high. However, focus is questionable at best. Monday's Virgo Moon helps with focus and organization and hopefully helps to channel the available energy. We'll do better by staying on the 'beaten path' on Tuesday. The shift in atmosphere comes on Wednesday with Mercury's entrance into Aries. Impatience is punctuated by sharp words and we're increasingly emboldened to say exactly what's on our minds. There are building imperatives on Thursday but less and less willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Communication is rather circumspect on Friday under the Libra-Aries Full Moon. While we may curiously pursue some kind of investigation, we're unlikely to be prepared to share our results. The Sun arrives in Taurus on Saturday just before Venus moves into Aries. The lack of flexibility may produce a standoff of some kind. Detachment and dynamic balance is more productive that direct assaults on opposing positions.
