Mercury finally leaves the shadow of it's retrograde phase and makes a powerful and transformative conjunction with Pluto. Creativity and inspiration from the Mercury-Pluto conjunction brings an entirely new approach and a new way of thinking. Energy builds throughout this week but the with the energy and inspiration, we are likely to see heightened levels of impatience and a strong desire for freedom and independence. The challenge in this environment is to effectively lay the groundwork in order to support the necessary follow-up. When we begin to recognize that there are missing elements that still need to be developed or implemented, we could reach an excruciating level of frustration. Patience and methodical, painstaking investigation is required in order to gather the new information that is called for to deal with the entirely new environment that we find this week. Those who are able to adapt quickly and listen to a wide variety of ideas are likely to be the big winners here.

Sunday's Mercury/Pluto conjunction brings a strong dose of creative inspiration but the idealism and any lack of approval could lead to immediate discouragement. A new boost in optimism on Monday could easily produce an unrealistic idea that we can get away with a quick patch and just avoid having to do the hard work necessary to lay proper groundwork. However, by Tuesday afternoon, the pace picks up significantly and, if we aren't prepared, the wheels could come off when we try to pick up any speed. Wednesday provides a more practical, thoughtful atmosphere. However, when we recognize exactly what is needed and activity picks up, there's a strong tendency to return to hasty solutions that don't fully address the situation. It's important to maintain a healthy give and take and stay adaptable. The Moon is VOC in Aries for most of the day on Thursday potentially leading to some wheel-spinning competitiveness that doesn't get us very far. Venus joins Mars in Aries on Friday, bringing some discomfort associated with the restriction felt by having to make necessary adjustments. By Saturday, our freedom may seem to be hampered but the restlessness and dissatisfaction could lead to the discovery of new information.
