Pisces Full Moon Eclipse
Pisces Full Moon Eclipse - A Leap Of Faith
"Vanity is the quicksand of reason."
— George Sand
We reach the culmination of a remarkably well-grounded and productive lunar cycle this week under Tuesday's Pisces Full Moon Eclipse (7:34 PM PDT 25° Pisces/Virgo). This is an extraordinarily complex environment that demands we take a 'leap of faith' as we turn into a 'blind corner'. A Mercury-Vesta conjunction at the beginning of the week demands decisiveness with the potential for some rather painful sacrifices. While many things seem to be slipping away, there is an individual sense of empowerment developing. We can begin to see how our individual abilities and insights can be put to use in service of a larger purpose. Mars in Cancer makes a significant square to the lunar nodes at the beginning of the week. There is a strong sense of mission or destiny but we will need to stay balanced and adhere to our personal set of guidelines and principles. A Grand Air Trine, just before the Full Moon, opens our minds to new intellectual vistas. Mercury opposes Saturn and Venus opposes Chiron at the Full Moon, encouraging compassion and heightening our awareness of differing points of view. The Sun's trine to Uranus and Pluto, following the Full Moon suggests a profoundly transformative environment. The Full Moon conjuncts Neptune, which fosters inspiration and compassion and encourages a great deal of faith. At least initially, Neptune's foggy confusion seems to be held in check by a sextile to Uranus. The Neptune-Uranus sextile is activated by Venus, which forms a potent YOD, bringing forward powerful individual insight that we can blend into collective intentions and purposes. We are encouraged to be bold and inventive. However, following the Full Moon, Neptune's fog begins to rise under the Sun's opposition. There are hints of 'zealotry' that may cloud our motivations. Maintaining our balance becomes more difficult. We can find our loyalties pulled in opposing directions and may be tempted to promise more than we can deliver. We may also be tempted to just tell others 'what they want to hear' in order to keep them quiet. The more that we try to establish some clarity, the more we can feel as though we're in 'quicksand' — the more we struggle, the deeper we sink. Nonetheless, by week's end, the Moon moves into Taurus to form a Grand Earth Trine with the Sun and Pluto just ahead of next Sunday's Autumn Equinox. This offers us just the stability and clarity that we need in order to actually turn this week's 'blind corner' and finally find a clear sense of purpose.
Our minds are open to new intellectual vistas on Sunday. However, adjustments are needed that push us far outside of our comfort zone. We are able to find a sense of discernment and discrimination on Monday. Compassion and empathy help us to let go of anything that is holding us back. Tuesday offers a profound, transformative energy that is grounded in compassion and empathy. We can begin to see how our individual insights can be blended into collective intentions. We feel a powerful 'head of steam' on Wednesday that may lead to some 'zealotry' which tinges our motivations. Gossip or questionable allegations are possible if we become too stirred up. Our loyalties are pulled in opposing directions on Thursday. The more that we try to find some clarity, the more confusion we may stir up. Trying to keep the peace on Friday may lead us to just tell others whatever they want to hear'. However, manipulation will only lead to further challenges down the road. A steady flow of inspiration helps us to gain some balance on Saturday. It is important to listen to 'all sides' while adhering to our own unique, personal set of guidelines and principles.
