Pisces Eclipse Full Moon
Pisces Eclipse Full Moon — Intuitive Intellect
"We do have to use our minds as far as they will take us, yet acknowledge that they cannot take us all the way."
— Madeleine L'Engle
A Circle of Quiet
There are intense levels of intellectual activity this week, producing profound opportunities to gain insights but also plenty of excitement and nervousness that is not easily 'tamed'. There aren't many 'guardrails' that might help to guide our motivations or our intentions. Both the Sun and Mercury in Virgo are wrapped up tightly into a YOD with Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries. At this week's Pisces Eclipse Full Moon (9:18 PM PDT 4° Pisces/Virgo), the Moon crosses the midpoint of the Pluto-Neptune sextile while the Sun and Mercury are moving out of the YOD but heading directly into a square with Uranus. Although the intensity is 'off the charts', there are extraordinary benefits offered. The Full Moon is stirring extremely unpredictable energies with an increasingly dangerous propensity to take extraordinary risks in pursuit of the intense intellectual and creative drives and inspiration. However, we should not discount the deeply intuitive elements that are also coming through the Full Moon's energy. We have increased capacity to see connections and calculate trajectories — an almost pre-cognitive ability to recognize potential outcomes and see multiple strategic opportunities. Ultimately, the challenge is finding enough grounding to fully make use of the high degree of intellectual capacity that we are offered. Intuition plays a big part in our overall awareness of what is being offered here but is not deeply 'rooted' in tangible or practical strategies. Perhaps this week's most difficult challenge is knowing more than we can do anything about. We are more than likely to make a significant effort to intellectually process the vast swirl of new energies and draw important conclusions. The Virgo-Aries/Aquarius YOD may help us to gather evidence. But we need more than facts to properly assess what is going on. We need reliable intuition. We are being asked see around some especially threatening 'blind corners'. The Pisces Full Moon is offering us access to greater intuitive guidance but the square to Uranus spins up so much nervous energy and such a deluge of facts that we are bound to face challenges and trials if we try to rely entirely on our own distinct individual 'brain power'. Nonetheless, along with the impulsive swirls of intellectual idealism, the Full Moon offers at least some degree of auspicious good-fortune. By the end of the week, Jupiter nears the trine to Saturn that will complete early next week. The trine is fully engaged by this Saturday, with Jupiter and Saturn both at 13° of Leo and Aries, respectively. We are certainly on the threshold of beneficial new developments and we are increasingly encouraged to blend this week's deluge of new intellectual insights with deep consideration and measured self-control. But the potential benefits do not come without more new trials and challenges that are building into next week. Mars squares Saturn immediately after the Jupiter-Saturn trine completes, bringing increasing aggressiveness and a propensity to 'draw lines' or 'boundaries' around our our personal 'stake' — our individual calculation of the potential benefits of what is developing. Essentially, we are approaching the threshold of beneficial new developments but there are questions and challenges as to 'who' benefits — with few clear 'greater good' perspectives and plenty 'What's in it for me?' questions.
Sunday offers a powerful, 'energy-focusing' capacity, encouraging us to bring this month's potent energies into 'form'. There is a significant need for caution here — we may believe that we have more individual control than we actually have. Monday provides us with an opportunity to clear away 'old patterns' of thinking. It is probably most important to trust the process as it unfolds here and let go of ego-attachments that are blocking our ability to see clearly. We should not discount the deeply intuitive elements at work on Tuesday. We have increased capacity to see connections and calculate trajectories — an almost pre-cognitive ability to recognize potential outcomes and see multiple strategic opportunities. There are extremely unpredictable energies stirred on Wednesday with an increasingly dangerous propensity to take extraordinary risks in pursuit of some intense intellectual and creative drives and inspiration. There aren't many 'guardrails' in the atmosphere that help to guide our motivations or even our intentions. Thursday's challenge is finding enough grounding to fully make use of the high degree of intellectual capacity that we are offered. Intuition plays a big part in our overall awareness of what is being offered here but is not deeply 'rooted' in tangible or practical strategies. There is a significant effort to intellectually process the vast swirl of new energies on Friday. However, there are new trials and challenges building in dramatic fashion, despite a remarkably congenial environment. Saturday's optimism is a 'carry over' from Friday's charm and congeniality. Nonetheless, there is far more going on 'behind the scenes' in terms of processing a broad range of intellectual insights.
