Mercury Turns Direct - Lasting Change

"It is what it is"

Last week's Full Moon (October 31, 7:42 AM PDT 8° Taurus/Scorpio) has stirred bursts of new insights along with significant upheaval and unpredictability. We will see the results unfold over the next two weeks of the waning lunar cycle as we begin to awaken with an entirely new awareness and understanding. Mercury turns direct on Tuesday and completes the review process in a tight square to Saturn. The demands for self-disciple and self-control seem to be in direct conflict with the impetus of the last Full Moon. We can quickly get stuck on narrow perspectives. Our ability to communicate is hampered by adherence to strict protocols. We are challenged to build new lines of effective communication and resist the tendency to impulsiveness and even aggression. Superficial congeniality covers hidden hostilities and frustration. There is a lack of clear information and effective communication. The retrograde Mars is slowing down but will not turn direct until the end of next week (November 14th), which increases the feeling that we do not have any chance at self-determination. However, the nature of Mars as Spiritual Warrior is guiding us to recognize the true nature of our interconnectedness. We begin to see clues that guide us to understanding how duality and separation are actually illusions that keep us from recognizing how we are all connected. We are likely to see sparks flying — especially on Thursday — as conflicts are highlighted. Nonetheless, the pressures, conflicts, and stresses are helping us to recognize the importance of building new structures to support new alliances and create entirely new lines of open and effective communication. Instinct and intuition begin to lead us out of a wilderness of dashed hopes and dissolute disappointment The challenge is to recognize how our individual initiatives have been transformed and will emerge with a greater sense of connectedness and common purpose and common effort.

A delicate balance is required on Sunday in order to maintain our own goals but still maintain a connection with the goals and needs of those around us. There are a variety of loose ends resulting from the last Full Moon. There is an opportunity on Monday to create inroads to more effective communication. However, there is some potential that we find that we have stirred up more than we can effectively manage. Mercury turns direct on Tuesday. The illusion of duality and separation is front and center. The challenge is see around a blind corner. The Moon is VOC Wednesday morning, leading to a myriad of distractions and bad information. It's easy to get stuck on various pieces of information that aren't really applicable to our questions. A broad, philosophical perspective emerges on Thursday, helping us to begin to articulate the insight garnered over the past few weeks under the retrograde Mercury. Self-confidence wanes on Friday. There are demands for equitable solutions but agreements are upended by impulsive activity and indecision. We begin to hear the whispers of a new understanding. We are moving into a new dimension of awareness. Saturday's whispers begin to offer clues of how we can adapt to that new dimension.
