Mercury trine Pluto - The Power of Thoughts

Mercury turns direct this week and makes a powerfully transformative trine to Pluto. There is a natural 'falling away' of the past and we seem to be spontaneously freed of many unworkable approaches and beliefs. With Mercury trine Pluto, feelings of loss, aimlessness and despondency may be overwhelming to some. On the other hand, others may respond to this environment with a defensive desire to rehash old battles and open old wounds. Nonetheless, this is a marvelously insightful, generous and perceptive environment, offering a myriad of opportunities to brainstorm and plan for future initiatives. However, we shouldn't expect to gain much traction to actually implement any of the insights we gather. This is a week for 'letting go'.

The Moon is VOC for most of the day on Sunday in a rather competitive, erratic environment. Subtlety will work much better than brute force. Peace and calm are highly prized on Monday but we'll run into surprising opposition if we challenge someone else's 'Sacred Cow'. Stick with subtlety. The sense of turning a 'blind corner' could seem quite unnerving on Tuesday. Avoid tilting at windmills! Mercury is nearly at a standstill on Wednesday and we see the shackles of old approaches falling away. There may be a sense of loss that continues into Thursday when Mercury returns to forward motion and the Sun arrives in Libra. The quiet, sensitive atmosphere offers organizational opportunities but the Gemini Moon may lead us a bit too far off course. If we can avoid defensiveness and focus on the 'tender shoots' of new insight, we should be able to maintain balance. Venus arrives in Scorpio on Friday. We may instinctively seek to hide our weaknesses or gain powerful advantages in order to feel safe. However, the real power comes from an honest willingness to embrace our imperfections. We gain a measure of true courage on Saturday, which makes it easier to honestly share our fears and experiences with others.
