Leo Pride - Recklessness

There is quite a bit of unsteady, impulsive, recklessness at play in this week's environment, but the Leo pride is on full display, prompting a strong desire for reassurance and support. The challenge is stepping back from the desire to gain that support from external sources (other people) and look within for the validation and reassurance we are craving. Our immediate environment may play a highly significant role in how well we are able to navigate the unstable energy this week. Steady, responsible, self-directed effort may not even seem possible but, in reality, is the only way to stay balanced and on course this week. The need for reassurance is the strongest on Sunday and we may be tempted to latch onto anyone who seems willing to give us the validation we're looking for. Recklessness and clever rhetorical justifications filter into the mix on Monday and we really need to avoid taking the tantalizing shortcuts that may be offered as we search for reassurance and validation. Tuesday takes us further down the road of persuasive rhetoric, potentially unraveling even the most solidly held positions. We may also see some very erratic behavior justified by the clever communication skills that are available. Activity goes behind the scenes on Wednesday, leading to a much more independent attitude and less concern for the approval of others. Once the Moon goes into Gemini on Thursday morning around 11 AM PDT, energy scatters and splinters. The continuing instability may lead to some questionable, attention-seeking displays. Friday brings the potential for a widening split between our inner feelings and what we are willing to show to the outside world. Appearance, display and the need for approval may keep much of what we're really thinking on an entirely different track. We'll need to muster some extraordinary courage in order to look inside for insight and self-validation and then share what we find with others. As we end this week, we are instinctively focused on firming up some kind of launchpad for the turnaround that the New Moon will bring. Saturday's Cancer Moon encourages us to strengthen our base of support at home or with close friends. We are likely to see powerful displays of personal strength and will power emerge under the next New Moon, happily leaving behind this week's erratic, unstable energy.
