Weekly Horoscope: July 10 - July 16

Mars Direct - Gearing Up

This week helps us to 'Gear Up' and get moving right along with Mars direct, which is rapidly accelerating following the six week long retrograde period (which ended a little less than two weeks ago). The Moon is increasing in light, giving us more and more ability to see where we want to go and the Martian energy is finally supplying us the fuel we need to really 'get this show on the road!' Venus and Mercury move from shy, cautious Cancer to bold and outspoken Leo. There is a strong streak of independence on display so it may not be easy to find compromises or get people to 'go through the proper channels'. Sunday starts the week with a giddy feeling of abundance that could easily become a 'Grab Fest', if we start to worry we won't have another chance to get what we want. The pent up Mars energy may be hard to contain. The strong imperatives increase on Monday and activity is driven by independent, individual action. There is little patience for any controls or obstacles. Venus arrives in Leo late Monday night and the Moon gets to Scorpio by mid-afternoon on Tuesday, prompting just the kind of controls and obstacles we were trying to dodge on Monday. Skepticism prompts significant push-back but the slowdown may be just the catalyst we need to redouble our efforts and make significant progress. Mercury joins Venus in Leo on Wednesday, prompting increasing outspokenness. Thursday brings a new round of obstacles, requiring emotional adjustments that may be quite uncomfortable but ultimately very productive. Friday is when we really get the 'Payoff' this week. We're finally getting to operate the 'gears & levers', make things happen and attain what we desire — Mars is finally supporting our efforts and initiatives again. Saturday ends the week with a happy mix of organization, determination and creativity. Nonetheless, the atmosphere may demand that we step over unexpected obstacles. We are also likely to see some echos of last month's 'Mutable Madness'. By staying focused on the 'Big Picture', we'll be able to stay on track and head toward next Tuesday's exciting Full Moon (July 19, 3:56 PM PDT, 27° Capricorn/Cancer). There are remarkable resolutions and excellent opportunities for expansion just around the corner!
