The strong initiatory power of last Friday night's Virgo New Moon (11:06 PM PDT 0° Virgo) is precipitously extended into the first couple of days of this week, culminating with the arrival of Venus in Leo, ruling Monday's Libra Moon — as well as Mars in Libra. Venus really takes charge this week in Leo, encouraging plenty of dramatic 'flair', 'flash', and even some amazing 'razzle-dazzle'. Action heats up through increased (and 'flashy') creative energy and steady, willpower-driven determination. The Moon activates another Grand Air trine with Uranus and Pluto — while Venus is trining Saturn and Neptune and sextiling Uranus. This powerful mix of energies brings significant intuitive awareness, along with plenty of courage and an intense focus on planning and organization (fostered by the Virgo Sun). The beneficial energy is 'off the charts' but needs to be responsibly harnessed. The Virgo Sun quietly reminds us of the need to stay focused on 'discernment', 'discretion', and 'deliberation' in order to take full advantage of the opportunity for expansive planning and organization. Perhaps one of the most important developments of this week is intense but mainly behind the scenes: Uranus completes the 1st of 3 exact sextiles with Neptune on Thursday. This is an important 'mark' in the journey of major global shifts that are unfolding. We can draw an important line to the upcoming Scorpio New Moon on November 19th when the New Moon will trine Neptune and oppose Uranus. Both Uranus and Neptune reach the 2nd exact sextile at that Scorpio New Moon as they make one final pass through Taurus and Pisces, respectively. In this week's context, it is especially important to clarify a long-term strategy for creating change. Objectivity, determination, and clear objectives will be important in carrying forward what are likely to be tremendously impactful insights that are dramatically flashing before us this week. We need to be prepared to see this week's insights in a different light as we move into the Fall — and find ourselves coming to terms with past initiatives that are due for reexamination. There are likely some 'hard pills to swallow' later in the day but ultimately, important breakthroughs can be found. Objectivity, determination, and clear objectives will be important in carrying forward what are likely to be tremendously impactful insights that are offered on Thursday. We need to be prepared to see these insights in a different light as we move into the Fall and find ourselves coming to terms with past initiatives that are due for reexamination. Despite what may seem to be extraordinary determination, we are likely to find ourselves undercut by uncertainty on Friday. We may find ourselves on the defensive today if we don't get as much support as we feel that we deserve.
